You know the movie Lord of the Rings. We wrote an article when we were looking for the answer to the question “Why did Kılıçdaroğlu become the candidate for CB?” at that time.
Kılıçdaroğlu won the election with .5. But we now understand, thanks to this famous “Absolute Nullity” ruling, that his real task is actually to eliminate the “Ring of Power” within his own party first.

I am rewriting a column I wrote before the General Election and we will discuss it again after the election in Part 2!

“Sauron, also known as the Dark Lord, took advantage of the weaknesses of the peoples of Middle-earth to make the “rings of power” to complete the task of his own master, Melkor. Reuniting all the peoples who served evil, Sauron strikes again, and the Ring was all Sauron needed to conquer Middle-earth. The owners of the Rings of Power realized they had been deceived, but it was too late.
In the series about the struggle to get rid of the ring that would change the fate of the world, the ring could be destroyed by throwing it into the lava of the volcano on the Mount of Judgment.
Gandalf of Istari, aware of all this, managed to gather a council in the land of Elrond, the Elven representative, and decided that the ring must be destroyed. The task of destroying the ring was given to a dwarf Hobbit named Frodo Baggins. To destroy the ring, he had to be thrown into the fire of a volcano called the “Mount of Judgment”. And so the adventure began.
And WHY was a dwarf given the task of destroying a ring that gave him the power to rule the whole world, so that it would not serve evil?

Let's come to our other lesson in history;
The Russo-Swedish wars were a series of wars fought between the Russian Empire and Sweden between the 12th and 19th centuries.
During the Ottoman period, Russia had a Tsar called Peter the Mad.
The Russian ruler known as Peter the Great prevented Russia from falling behind Europe thanks to his studies and experiments during the Renaissance and Reform period. Peter the Great's dream was to open Russia to the warm seas, and because of these plans, Peter the Great made more studies on seafaring and sailing; he worked in the lowest rank on a ship beyond his fame and brought his interesting personality to the forefront. For this reason, the Ottomans nicknamed Peter I ‘Peter the Mad’, but when he came against the Ottomans with large and durable ships in the Battle of Prut, Peter the Mad became known as Peter the Great.
Peter the Great helped Russia to open to the warm seas, to build a large navy and to become an empire in the western sense. And Russia fought great sea battles with Sweden to open up to the warm seas. In these wars, which took place as many times as I don't remember, Mad Peter and the Russian Navy were defeated and everyone made the following criticism to Mad Peter.
“You have been defeated dozens of times, the Russian navy has been shattered in every defeat. Why don't you give up?” Wait until the end of this article for the answer!

Finally, I will talk about three works that are the world's first political writings. First, Sun Tzu, known as the art of war, written in China, then the Siyasetname written by Nizamülmülk during the Seljuk period and the Siyasetname written in the west inspired by them.
Niccolo Machiavelli's The Monarch. These three writings are considered to be an updated continuation of each other.
The main issue of all political treatises is governance. These works, which were written to give practical advice on governance, have been guides that have made great contributions to the art of governance and political philosophy. And for the common point of all of them, it can be adapted to our day with a single sentence.

But first let's give the main ideas of the first two stories.
1. Lord of the Rings; WHY was a dwarf given the task of destroying the ring that gave evil the power to rule the world by throwing it into a volcano?
-Because there had to be someone who could do the task, who would not abuse the power when he got it, who would take the ring in his hand and throw it into the volcano. And only Frodo, the dwarf, was the only one who had that virtue and could throw the ring into the volcano without thinking!
2. Mad Peter was asked: ‘You have been defeated dozens of times, the Russian navy has been shattered in every defeat. Why don't you still give up?’, Peter's answer;
- “I may have been defeated dozens of times, but once is enough. And if I win just once, everything will suddenly change and it will be what everyone expects! I will not stop fighting for him.” His reply is a historical lesson.
3rdly, the common sentence of the books we know as “Siyasetname”, which are lessons from Ancient China to Seljuks and Europe and which form the basis of politics today;
- “Those who cause problems cannot solve them!”

See you in Part 2......
