The old holidays were joyful, the nation was in ecstasy. We used to celebrate the holidays with pride and enthusiasm with the honorable and pure leaders of the Republican People's Party.
Bülent Ecevit was an immaculate man; he had only one house, one car, and that's how he ended his life. He was not tainted by any corruption, any shadow of suspicion.
Deniz Baykal used to boast, “My biggest capital is my daughter”. He did not even smell a whiff of suspicion. As he was accused, he wrote letters to all the banks, explained the answers and roared, “I will confuse the foreheads of those who slander the CHP chairman”.
Altan Öymen was a modest, honest and spotless journalist.
Throughout his career, Hikmet Çetin has never known shame.
Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu was mocked as “Mr. Kemal”, and he was worn down, but there was not a single allegation of bribery, corruption, or any kind of suspicion of wrongdoing.
But now there is a shameful sight:

The last CHP chairman has become a scandal factory. Rumors of alcohol addiction, disgraceful images of him drinking raki at the graveside, disrespectful spitting on values, libidinous private affairs, rent-seeking attempts with land in Beşiktaş under a demolition order, a $20 million bribery allegation in Manisa... As if that wasn't enough, he is now the defense lawyer in Turkey's biggest corruption case, and he is personally plastering the mud. Everything about him is dirty, muddy and filthy, but he cannot open his mouth to say a word, and tries to cover it up with a deep silence.
CHP politics means morality, honesty and transparency. Özgür Özel, on the other hand, has trampled on this legacy and is only trying to stand up with the disgusting allegations that stick to him.
Either he cleans himself immediately and completely from all this dirt, shame and allegations of bribery... or he will collapse politically with this stain, he will be finished, he will be thrown into the dustbin of history.
It's time to choose: Cleanup or extinction. There is no middle ground.
