This is the ‘Freedom’ that Imperialism Promises to the Syrian People and Children!

That child crouching in the back alley of Damascus is not only a child of Damascus, but also of Aleppo, Mosul, Gaza, Diyarbakir, Istanbul.

In one of the slums of Damascus, a child collapsed on the ground with his belly on his nose...

In his eyes, embarrassment beyond his years, in his body the traces of a collapse...

And inside that belly lies not just a baby, but the remnants of a thousand years of darkness.

That child bears not only an individual tragedy, but the shameful consequences of a mentality that considers women as property, children as concubines, rape as booty and silence as destiny.

This is not just the belly of a child; it is the belly of an era, a geography, a system.

It is the embodiment of the perverted understanding that “legitimizes” child marriage, gives “halal” to rape and the body through fatwas, and categorizes people based on sect.

This mentality is the organized form of a mind that tries to cover perversion with religion, barbarism with tradition, and male domination with a divine right.

This child is not alone.

There are thousands like him:

They give birth quietly in the shadow of tents, in border towns, in forgotten geographies.

Some are 11, some 13 years old...

Their bodies carry a dead age; their souls seem to have been buried before they were born.

And their cries are dying out before they hit the conscience of humanity and resonate.

But this cry never reaches the ears of the imperialist world.

Because the children of that world grow up in front of their eyes, in gated communities, in state-guaranteed education, in sterile hospitals.

And this comfort gives them the “privilege of not hearing” this pain.

They know that this death will not knock on their door, this violence will not swallow their children.

It is this distanced comfort that commodifies the children of the poor world.

It turns them into usable human raw material.

In labor exploitation, war, sexuality, arms trade, organ trafficking...

These children are treated as “cost elements”.

And the global system prefers to remain silent, to turn a blind eye, to play three monkeys in order to maintain this order.

Exploitation is being systematized not only in factories but also in the emotions of humanity.

Yes, all those who remain silent while all this is happening, all those who turn a blind eye, are accomplices.

States that fail to protect them, communities that market them, perverted minds that consider these girls “the right of booty” rather than the right of lust... They are all rusty links in the same chain.

This child is not just a victim; he is a dark mirror held up to the age.

She carries in her womb not just a baby, but a systematic brutality, an ideological decay.

This evil grows not only on the battlefields, but also in those who choose to remain silent in their armchairs, those who change the channel on the screen saying “I can't stand it”, those who turn their backs saying “it's not our issue”.

But this issue is precisely our issue.

Because every domination over the body of a child is a sentence written on the total defeat of humanity.

Every silence prepares the ground for the next scream.

Every time we turn a blind eye, we seal the fate of a new victim.

This child's eyes have unmasked civilization.

When that mask falls, only barbarism is left behind.

That child crouching in the back alley of Damascus is not only a child of Damascus, but also of Aleppo, Mosul, Gaza, Diyarbakir, Istanbul.

They are among the children whose bodies are sacrificed in the war of mindsets, not geographies.

Every day a child is forced to give birth is a day of shame for humanity.

To remain silent now is to be an accomplice to the crime.

Not to speak now is not to see that child's ordeal.

Not to write now is to leave other children to face the same fate tomorrow.
