“Don't be idle, Hajji!”

On the TV100 program ‘Taksim Square’ with Gürkan Hacır, which is closely followed by viewers, Ebrar Karakurt’s controversial "Abdülhamid" post was discussed. A heated debate erupted in the studio between tv100.com writer Hacı Yakışıklı and journalist Barış Yarkadaş. "Stop it, Hacı."

Adnan Beker, an MP from the İYİ Party representing Ankara; journalist Barış Yarkadaş; Murat Çelik, a columnist for Posta; Hasan Öztürk, Editor-in-Chief of ÜLKE TV; Hacı Yakışıklı, a columnist for tv100.com; and Deniz Gürel, tv100’s Ankara correspondent; were guests on Gürkan Hacır’s show at Taksim Square.

Competing for the gold medal for the third time in the history of the European Championship, the "Queens of the Court" defeated Serbia 3-2 in the final of the 2023 CEV European Championship to claim the European title.

“We don’t know Ebrar; her lifestyle is her own business.”

The program, which is closely followed on tv100, also covered the ’Queens of the Court" team's European championship victory. Ebrar Karakurt, who posted numerous updates following the match, made headlines with her latest photo.

The ’Abdülhamid‘ post was also discussed on the ’Gürkan Hacır with Taksim Square" program, which has garnered a large following on tv100.

While Karakurt’s controversial ‘Abdülhamid’ post was being discussed, a heated argument broke out between tv100.com columnist Hacı Yakışıklı and journalist Barış Yarkadaş.

“We saw that some people weren’t happy”

Hacı Yakışıklı said, “We don’t know Ebrar; her lifestyle is her own business,” adding, “Ebrar Karakurt came out and held up a sign that read, ‘Cut the crap, Abdülhamid.’ If he had responded to a viewer named Abdulhamid by retweeting and replying to their tweet, the controversy wouldn’t have escalated. We don’t know Ebrar; her lifestyle is her own business. We’ve seen various debates circulating on social media. We’re proud of the national team, but an atmosphere was created as if she were against Turkey,” he said.

Following Hacı Yakışıklı’s remarks, Barış Yarkadaş said, “We’ve seen that there are some people who aren’t happy about the Women’s National Volleyball Team’s victory and championship. There’s a group of people just waiting for an opportunity.”.

“SHAME ON YOU!”

As a heated argument broke out between the two in the studio, Yarkadaş asked Yakışıklı, “Why aren’t you speaking up about the attack on Ebrar?”.

As the argument heated up, the two exchanged barbs like “Cut it out…” and “Shame on you!”.
