According to reports, the party leadership was aware that Mr. Ekrem İmamoğlu’s diploma issue could lead to legal and political problems in the future. For this reason, it was stated that Mr. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu occasionally viewed Mr. Mansur Yavaş favorably.
However, it was reported that certain factions within the party opposed this, adopting the stance—in their own words—that “we should not nominate someone with a nationalist past as the CHP’s candidate.” As a result, there are serious assessments that Kılıçdaroğlu’s candidacy was shaped not so much by personal ambition as by the dynamics of internal party balances.

Why is Mansur Yavaş aligning himself with the same circles today?
The interesting point is this: The circles that opposed Mansur Yavaş’s candidacy at the time are now taking a different political stance. Despite this, it is noteworthy that Mansur Yavaş appears to be keeping his distance from Kılıçdaroğlu.
Personally, I do not believe that Mr. Mansur Yavaş is aware of the details of all these processes. However, I am certain that the current political leadership will not nominate Mansur Yavaş as a presidential candidate when the time comes. Within this structure, other names may rise to prominence; however, Mansur Yavaş’s path could be systematically blocked.
It should also be noted that the driving force behind Mansur Yavaş’s recruitment to the CHP was Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu.

Why was İmamoğlu’s campaign launched so early?
It was striking that the Presidential Candidate’s Office was established and the groundwork for the candidacy was laid in a hurry even before the election atmosphere had taken shape.
Looking at it from today’s perspective, this question is being asked more loudly:
Was this process orchestrated to strengthen Mr. İmamoğlu, or to politically isolate him over time?
Indeed, if one pays close attention, it becomes clear that after Mr. İmamoğlu faced legal proceedings, the same circles have almost completely dropped Mansur Yavaş’s name from the public discourse.

“What is the background to the ”Absolute Nullity” debate?
While some plans, believed to be the product of political engineering, were thought to have succeeded, the debate over “absolute nullity” changed the entire equation.
There is a widespread belief that certain legal assessments within the state apparatus have reshaped the process. For this reason, it is believed that the underlying cause of the current unease is not merely political concerns, but also disrupted plans.
Of course, in a state governed by the rule of law, the judiciary has the final say. Criticizing judicial decisions is one thing; inciting the public against the judiciary is quite another.

Why was the blame for the election loss placed solely on one person?
It is common knowledge that some opposition voters did not turn out for the second round of the 2023 presidential election. Nevertheless, placing the entire blame for the election’s outcome solely on Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu is a serious contradiction.
The real question is this:
Why didn’t millions of voters go to the polls?
The difference is 2.3 million, and there are 10.8 million unused votes. Friends, don’t you think there are at least 2.5 million CHP voters among those unused votes? What can we say about the shamelessness and audacity of those who betrayed their leader in this way, despite him having received nearly 15 million votes from the right-wing?
Any assessment made without asking these questions will be incomplete.
6. Final Thoughts
Today, many people believe that an organized political and psychological campaign is being waged against Mr. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu.
As an ordinary citizen, I’d like to say this:
Just once, go ahead and ask these questions of the candidates you support.
If they're wrong, let them explain.
If there are any errors, please correct them.
But they shouldn’t brush it off with silence.
