Dilek Bozkurt/ HALKWEB In a sad incident in Maslak, Sarıyer, famous producer Erol Köse (61) lost his life. A written note was found in the house of Köse, who died after falling from the 16th floor of the building where he was staying, about his illness and that the responsibility belonged to him.

Development of the Incident and Initial Findings
Citizens who saw a person lying motionless in front of a 16-storey building in Maslak Neighborhood reported the situation to the authorities. Health teams arriving at the scene determined that the person lying on the ground was producer Erol Köse and that he had lost his life.
I had to because of my ALS
Police teams investigated the house and found a handwritten note written by Köse. It was learned that the note included the following statements: “I had to because of my ALS disease, I am responsible. Take care of my cat.”
It was stated that Köse had been suffering from psychological disorders and heart problems for a while and had not left his house for about 3 months.
Friends' Testimonies and Suspicions
His friend Mevlüt Y., who was staying in the same house with Köse at the time of the incident, told the police that he was helping Köse with his care and that the incident took place when he went down to the lobby of the building for a short time.
His close friends are shocked by the incident:
İlker Koç: Stating that they have been colleagues for 3 years, he stated that they are waiting for the official authorities to make a statement.
Yaşar İpek: Emphasizing that Köse is a strong character, İpek shared a remarkable detail: “A week ago, he transferred the rights and earnings of all his works in MSG to his daughter who is studying abroad.”
Investigation Continues
Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched an ex officio investigation into the incident. It will be clear after the autopsy and detailed investigations whether the famous producer fell to his death or ended his life.
