“I start by knowing that the saying ”Do not hurt even if you are hurt" belongs to Hacı Bektaş-ı Veli.
Because this is not just advice; it is the essence of our path, our faith and our conscience.
But let everyone know this:
Not to hurt is not to remain silent about injustice!
Mine Kırıkkanat's term “sword residue” is not such a simple word.
There is history in this word, there is pain, there are lives that have been ignored.
“Saying ”I didn't know" doesn't lighten the burden.
This language used by Mine Kırıkkanat against Mr. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu is not criticism, but openly targeting. And normalizing this language will harm the already fragile social peace of this country.
As an Alevi, I do not accept Mine Kırıkkanat's apology. I know very well what a word means in these lands, what kind of wound a word can cause.
In our teaching there is no hatred, but there is memory.
We are the ones who hurt but do not hurt...
But this does not mean that we will remain silent in the face of wrong.
Criticism can and should be made. But targeting people with historical connotations of hatred is neither freedom of opinion nor journalism.
Everyone will know the weight of their words!
Because some words are not just said... they leave a mark.
