A strange memorization has been circulating in the country lately:
Ekrem is Ekrem!
Every discussion comes back to the same place.
Every issue is reduced to a single name.
As if there is no other problem in the country...
But real life is not just slogans.
The ones who don't protect a single emergency decree holder,
How sincere is his talk of justice?
Those who do not see the women in prison who are on trial over a pastry they made,
How credible is his talk of law?
Those who remain silent on the murders of women,
How consistent is it for him to lecture on human rights?
The problem starts right here.
Justice is not defended by choice.
Conscience does not work in pieces.
Right does not expand and contract according to the person.
If justice is demanded in a country only for “those who are one of us”,
there is no justice - there is partiality.
Today, those who shout “Ekrem de Ekrem!”
There is no guarantee that he will not repeat the same routine tomorrow under a different name.
Because it's not about the name.
It's about mindset.
We will either say justice for all,
or none of us will really talk about justice.
The rest is just noise.
