HALKWEB- İzzet Özden, a former CHP provincial and district delegate in Malatya, filed a criminal complaint to the prosecutor's office with the call record of Yusuf Uçar, one of the deputy chairmen of Yeşilyurt district, who threatened him with death.
While the trial, which started with Özden's criminal complaint, continues, it was learned that CHP Malatya Provincial Administration did not take any disciplinary action against Yusuf Uçar, who publicly threatened its members, and continued his duty.
Reacting to the situation, İzzet Önder reacted to the situation with the following words:
“The CHP is based on populism, labor, justice and human dignity. If a social democratic party protects and patronizes names associated with threatening language, swearing and mafia-like behavior, everyone's conscience is questioned.”

Social democracy means practicing politics not with the language of fear, but with morality and merit. If an administration remains silent despite these incidents, that silence leaves big question marks in the public opinion.
We want principled politics, not armchair politics. We will not be silent against those who try to condemn the CHP to the shadow of personal calculations, threat culture and mafia-like understandings. Because real social democrats are not those who obey, but those who stand firm against injustice.”
