Kaftancıoğlu stated the following:
”Professor Bilge, who I believe would have made a significant contribution to getting the economy back on track had he taken on the role, comes from a school of thought—as far as I know—where he won’t make comments without concrete data. Professor Bilge, as one of the people close to Kılıçdaroğlu, I believe it is my personal right to ask you to clarify which ‘interest group’ I am a part of.”
