Democrat Party Chairman Gültekin Uysal came to Erzurum to attend the Democrat Party Provincial Congress and was a guest on Agah TV's Gün Yüzü program. During the program, Uysal made remarkable statements about AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Ahmet Çakar's salary from Beyaz TV revealed
Asked by Agah TV's program host Efendi Sarı, “What is the strategy of the Democratic Party in the local election process?” Uysal said, “Each region has its own dynamics. Politics is a very costly activity both in general and locally. It is not limited to treasury aids, we know that the government creates billion-dollar budgets with the resources used for politics.”.
Uysal made the following statements:
“Now if I ask you this: Who owns the ATV-Sabah group? Who owns Beyaz TV? We know the owners of these media organizations. One is owned by Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the other by Melih Gökçek. However, they may look different in official records. For example, who owns Istanbul Airport? Various companies appear on the surface, but the real owner is Mr. Erdoğan. If there are those who have not heard, they should know that this is a reality in Turkey. This is a reality where politics is financed with dirty resources.”

“Erdoğan gave permission to build even in stream beds”
Stating that Erdoğan has been ruling Istanbul since 1994, Uysal said, “He even gave construction permits even in stream beds. School areas and parks were looted for rent. Then they call it ‘horizontal architecture’. You did these practices. These are not unknown things. People can sometimes legitimize such actions, but we express the truth with the support of reason, conscience and the nation.”
Those who stoned Ekrem İmamoğlu in Erzurum reversed gear: I did not throw stones, I threw flowers
“The behavior of the Welfare Party is a yellow union tactic”
Uysal also responded to the question “In the upcoming local elections, is there a possibility that the Yeniden Refah Party, which has harshly criticized the government from time to time, will form an alternative alliance on the right?” and said the following: “Any kind of cooperation is now possible in Turkey. However, the opposition rhetoric of the Yeniden Refah Partisi resembles the tactics of the yellow union. In other words, if they continue to support the government while opposing it, citizens will make up their minds.”
