Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's latest video message was not just a statement of a few minutes; it was a revolt that reached millions. A rebellion against theft, shamelessness, shame and institutionalized corruption... Moreover, he did not only take a personal stance; he reminded the historical mission of the Republican People's Party.
So, what is this mission?
CHP's Mission
Protecting the founding values of the Republic: Secularism, rule of law, national sovereignty and democratic parliamentary system.
Ensuring social justice: To produce policies in favor of labor, equality and strengthening the social state.
Fighting corruption and shady structures: Advocate for transparent, auditable and merit-based use of public resources.
Expand democratic rights and freedoms: Defending all democratic rights, from freedom of the press to freedom of expression.
To bring Turkey to the level of contemporary civilization: To prepare the country for the future with a development vision focused on science, technology and education.
Standing with the people: To be the voice of the broadest sections of society against poverty, injustice and the economic crisis.
Today, some “know-it-all” members of parliament, who do not know or even ignore this basic mission, are attacking Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who served as the chairman for 13 years, by insulting him.
Why?
Because Kılıçdaroğlu defends principle, morality and accountability, not seat calculations, petty interest networks or intra-party bargaining...
“In articles titled ”The institutionalization of immorality", the deepening of this decay was described at length. Today, unfortunately, the picture is clear:
Immorality has been institutionalized.
“If you have a thief, I also have a thief” is now being said in some parts of politics, and perception engineering is being carried out by combining media apparatuses with the power of money.
But there is one fact they forget:
The one who stands up for what is right will sooner or later be vindicated in the face of what is wrong.
History has repeatedly shown this to be the case. And today Turkey is approaching that point again.
Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's exit is not just a video message; it is a call to conscience against institutionalized immorality.
It is a reminder of the CHP's mission and a clear warning against those who have diverted politics from its compass.
That's why that video was watched so much. Because a significant part of the society was waiting to hear those sentences that no one dared to say for a long time.
Kılıçdaroğlu showed it once again:
It is on the side of the Republic, justice and fairness, not the power of corruption, shame and theft.
And the truth, sooner or later, collapses on the curve.
