A structure established within the Armenian Patriarchate to support the poor and people in need is using social media to undermine our social solidarity. “don't be complicit” with a headline that scares the shit out of people.
They do this by intimidating people with the support of a few bootlickers.
And all this is happening under the roof of the Patriarchate.
Therefore, Mr. Patriarch Mashalyan becomes the natural addressee of this picture.
On the one hand, a commission that throws mud at solidarity for a person in need, and on the other, a language that divides society...
And the social media figures who have become the commission's sycophants and mentors.
However, if they were to think about projects that would create resources with this energy, they would come up with a lot.
I'll tell them if they don't know:
I have dozens of projects that will generate income through social solidarity, works that will be role models.
But they choose what is easy, not what is difficult:
“Someone gives, we distribute.”
Today, the social welfare directorates of municipalities already provide food and clothing.
Foundations transfer a share from their own institutional revenues.
So what does this commission, whose short name is PSYK, produce that is different from these?
What is he doing?
Honestly, I don't know.
On a young man who has been living on the street for nine months
“We put him in this hotel, we did that” to share advertisements;
“We are also doing our job well” to create the perception that they are the only ones who can laugh at themselves,
but it makes a mockery of the Patriarchate.
That young man's priority is not a hotel room,
pedagogical and psychological rehabilitation support.
People who know the darkness of the street,
“we put it here, we took it here” is not the solution,
neither is conscience.
