Who is Gökhan Abur? Gökhan Abur was born on January 1, 1943 in Afyonkarahisar. 78 years old, Abur spent his childhood in different cities of Turkey due to his father's military service. After moving to Istanbul with his family, he continued his education here.
After completing his secondary and high school education in Karabük, he returned to Istanbul to study meteorology engineering at Istanbul Technical University. During his university years, his interest in music continued and he took part in various music groups. Abur, who was intertwined with music during his university years, performed in a contest organized by Hafta Sonu Newspaper in 1967 and came fourth. After this contest, he received record offers and recorded a total of 14 45 records and an album titled ’Bir Gün Karşılaşırsak“ (If We Meet One Day).
In addition to his music career, Gökhan Abur became well known in the field of television by presenting the weather on NTV screens for many years. His music and weather presentations have become familiar and loved by many people.
