Mental health is the absence of disharmony between an individual and both themselves and their environment
is defined as.

Of course, this issue must first and foremost be addressed from the individual’s perspective. Perhaps one of the most challenging aspects is resolving the conflicts within one’s inner world and achieving harmony.

To understand this, we need to look at the psychological terms “id,” “ego,” and “superego.”.

In other words, there must be a balance between the id, the ego, and the superego.

The id is the biological aspect of the personality. It largely encompasses the libido and related drives.

The ego is the rational aspect of the personality. In other words, it is the realistic aspect.

The superego is the realm in which social norms are reflected. Initially, social norms are conveyed to the child through the mother and father.

Mental health depends on the balance of these three aspects of personality. This is because investing energy in each of these three aspects of personality separately leads to imbalance. After all, imbalance equates to psychological dysfunction.

On the other hand, the clashes;
• Approach–approach conflict,
 Approach-avoidance conflict,
• Avoidance – avoidance conflict,
• Approach–approach conflict
is expressed as follows.

In order to achieve psychological well-being and, consequently, good health, these forms of conflict must be resolved.

Once again, being in harmony with one’s surroundings is important for psychological well-being
is doing so.

However, this is a very sensitive issue. People need to maintain a certain degree of individuality. Otherwise, they may experience inner conflict, which can negatively affect their mental health.

What the individual needs to do here is strike a balance between the expectations of those around them and their own expectations.
