Kahramanmaraş Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has put a stop to speculation that İsa Aras Mersinli is alive and has been kidnapped. The Chief Public Prosecutor's Office announced that the “he is not dead” claims that caused outrage on social media were completely unfounded and confirmed with certainty that the perpetrator died at the scene of the incident.

In the statement served through the Media Communication Office, it was stated that the allegations have no legal basis. As a result of the investigations of the judicial units, it was clearly stated that İsa Aras Mersinli died at the time of the incident and his body was transferred to Necip Fazıl City Hospital morgue for autopsy procedures.
AUTOPSY ANNOUNCED HOUR BY HOUR
Emphasizing the transparency of the process, the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office shared the autopsy schedule: April 15 at 21.45, the forensic examination was completed at 00.30 on April 16 at midnight and the official burial license was issued. Refuting the perception operations that the perpetrator is alive, the authorities reminded that any interested party can access the forensic files.

The button was pressed for unfounded posts aimed at creating panic and insecurity in the society. The Chief Public Prosecutor's Office sternly announced to the public that a judicial investigation has been initiated against those who spread these disinformation allegations in accordance with Article 217/A of the Turkish Penal Code.
