Circassian handicraft masters Elmas Eşsiz and Ayşe Eşsiz will meet with art lovers with their works and excerpts from their own lives.
The works of two brothers who have dedicated their lives to learning, developing and teaching Circassian embroidery art are being exhibited at the Kethüda Hamam Beşiktaş Cultural Center in Ortaköy.
The exhibition will feature a large collection of Adyghe, Abkhaz and Ubykhs, the ancient peoples of the North Caucasus, from gold embroidery Dışeyide to Adyghe ornamental whips.
Elmas Eşsiz and Ayşe Eşsiz will share the stories and experiences of their works with the visitors.
The exhibition “Unique Brothers”, a project of the Istanbul Caucasian Cultural Association, was curated by Denef Huvaj, project coordinator Esen Bal and exhibition coordinator Şelale Yılal.
