Pointing out that the Israeli government's judicial regulation was heavily criticized in the US press, Musk stated that he was “subjected to more criticism from Tesla employees for meeting with Netanyahu than anything else he has ever done before.”.

Commenting on the law reform package that aims to limit the powers of the judiciary in his country, Netanyahu said that the first plan announced by the government was “bad”.
Netanyahu noted that while the government was trying to redress the imbalance in the separation of powers in favor of the judiciary, “the pendulum swung too far the other way in the first plan announced.”.
Netanyahu said he would work to find a compromise on the judicial arrangement upon his return to Israel, stressing that he “wants to find a middle ground.”.
Referring to Musk's recent statements targeting the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), one of the most important Jewish organizations in the US, Netanyahu said, “I know you are against antisemitism. I hope that the change you made in X will not only stop antisemitism but also stand against collective hatred. I advise you to find a balance. This is a difficult thing,” he said.
