Upon the discussions that started on social media about where his earnings came from and how they were obtained, Engin Polat made a statement on the subject, explaining that they did not buy an airplane, but only rented it with a video he shot at the pool of a crowded business.

After Özdemir's comment became a hot topic, Dilan Polat responded to the statements in question.
Polat, who addressed Özdemir anonymously with his statement on Instagram, used the following words:
“Someone said, ‘Wealth is not spending money, it's knowing how to spend it’... Hah... You can't teach people who got married at the age of 17-19, built a home, and came to this day hand in hand, how to spend money, how to use money, where and how to use it. You don't say that to a couple who have done a lot of business, who have gotten to where they are today by using their intelligence. Besides, if you want to talk a lot, you have a lot to talk about; the help, the beauty, our contribution to our country... Talk about these, okay?”
Continuing to respond to the criticisms against him in the rest of his statement, Polat said, “Now we have run out of money, they have started to teach us how to use our money. A gentleman also came out and said this. I am 33 years old, my wife is 35. We have been together for 18 years, hand in hand for 18 years, we have established our own trade and come to this day, and even you are talking about our money today.
