Selçuk Özdağ, a member of the Founding Council and the Executive Board of the Future Party, responded to claims that three MPs had defected to the AK Party by saying, “The path you have embarked upon with fifty different lies and provocations is a dead end.”.
Today, claims circulated on social media that three MPs from the Future Party had defected to the AK Party. In response to these claims, Selçuk Özdağ issued a statement on Twitter:

In his post, Özdağ wrote, “The Future and Happiness Party formed a caucus in the Grand National Assembly; there were 20 of them, but they began to act like an opposition of 200. Why? Because we know the inner workings of the ruling mindset better than anyone. And of course, fear has run rampant. But does fear serve any purpose in the end? I ask you too, you scribes who take cues from the ruling party! The path you’ve taken, filled with fifty kinds of lies and provocations, is a dead end.
