HALKWEB / DILEK BOZKURT Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu published a written message on the occasion of the upcoming Eid al-Adha. In his message, Kılıçdaroğlu emphasized unity, solidarity, honesty and common struggle.
In his message, the CHP leader addressed the party organization and citizens as “Dear Brothers and Sisters, Dear Companions” and stated that holidays are special days that strengthen the bridges of brotherhood.

”We are a Big Sycamore with Interconnected Roots”
Drawing attention to Turkey's unity and solidarity, Kılıçdaroğlu said that all difficulties were overcome together and made the following analogy:
”We are a great plane tree whose seeds are scattered in the same soil, in whose shade those who are tired rest, who face every wind together and whose roots are tightly connected to each other.”
”Slander cannot break this brotherhood”
Referring to the challenges and allegations they face in the political climate, the CHP leader emphasized that the walls they want to build between us cannot break the bond of brotherhood. Stating that their greatest strength is honesty and unshakable faith, Kılıçdaroğlu said, “Neither lies and slander nor the walls that want to be built between us will be able to break this brotherhood.”.
Emphasis on ”Hope and Struggle”
In the last part of his message, Kılıçdaroğlu wished Eid al-Adha to be a hope for the future and concluded his message with the following words:
”May this Eid al-Adha be the strongest sign of our brotherhood that will not diminish, our hope that will grow and our common struggle. I wish you all a holiday full of health, peace and hope.”
