This is not fate

We can't enter the EU, and they won't let us into heaven after we die, because even God is fed up with us after so much hostility to nature.

Yet this country is a paradise in itself. Every time I travel abroad, I realize better: There is no other geography that experiences four seasons at the same time and is so generous with its greenery, forests and water.

But what do we do?
We're destroying this beauty to earn 0.03 TL more.
Mines, nuclear power plants, cyanide wastes in the Kaz Mountains for years...
Coastal plunder, unplanned urbanization, irrational policies that hoard people in concrete.

Instead of beautifying where we live, we insist on creating an unlivable country.
Europe's garbage comes to us, its nature goes away from us.

This is not fate.
This is the result of a wrong policy, a wrong manager, a system left in the hands of incompetent individuals.
And yes, it is not only the current government; this mentality existed before it.

The problem is not the name of the governments, but the fact that the mindset that sees nature as the enemy never changes.

These are all mistakes made in the interest of making a quick buck.
However, in schools, children should first be taught to beautify the place where they live, before mathematics and geography.

But no one in this geography died where they were born.
There is a constant state of migration; as people move from one place to another, they first worry about feeding themselves.
Therefore, without realizing what they are doing, consciously or unconsciously, they consume the place where they live.

I feel sad.
I feel very sad.
Because I see it, but I can't stop it.
And the fact that one can do nothing about it is heavier than the destruction itself.

The real destruction is not in nature, but in the mind that has never learned to beautify the place where it lives, that forgets its conscience while feeding itself.
