We would like to ask a question to our old friends who accuse us of being AKP members and serving the AKP:<\/p>\n
In the 2023 elections, how many parliamentary seats would the People's Alliance led by AKP-MHP have lost if you had not abandoned the will of the Labor and Freedom Alliance to act jointly by saying \u201cwe will enter separately\u201d?<\/p>\n
Or to put it another way, how many more parliamentary seats could have been won if you had kept the Labor and Freedom Alliance?<\/p>\n
So, were you serving the AKP when you disbanded the Alliance for Labor and Freedom? Or were you from the AKP?<\/p>\n
If such an accusation were made against you, would you not find it unfair and hurtful?<\/p>\n
So why do you try to explain every political disagreement, every mistake or every different attitude as \u201cserving the AKP\u201d or \u201cbeing from the AKP\u201d?<\/p>\n
Wouldn't it be fairer to stick the needle in yourself and the stick in others?<\/p>\n
Just as we cannot call you a \u201ctraitor\u201d or an \u201cAKP supporter\u201d based on this concrete example, we should not label everyone with whom we have political differences.<\/p>\n
Perhaps we should first sweep our own doorsteps and honestly face the consequences of the choices we have made in the past.<\/p>\n
Leftism is based on morality, virtue, labor and political honesty. These values cannot be sacrificed to day-to-day calculations, organizational rivalries or narrow group interests. It is precisely the commitment to these principles that makes a leftist a leftist. Without these principles, all that remains are empty slogans and dry words.<\/p>\n
