Throughout its more than 100-year history, the Republican People's Party has passed through many challenging periods. But the most important element that has sustained it in this long march has been its claim to clean politics and the moral legitimacy it enjoys in the public conscience.<\/p>\n
What needs to be done today is not to blame each other or to declare people who think differently as enemies.
\nWhat needs to be done is to reunite the party on common values, to restore political civility and to reinforce a corporate culture worthy of the CHP's history. Because politics is not only the art of winning elections.<\/p>\n
Politics is also a matter of character.<\/p>\n
And it must not be forgotten;<\/p>\n
It is not only votes that bring a party to power.<\/p>\n
