If even a fraction of these allegations are true, the issue is no longer just the case of a mayor, it turns directly into a political system debate.<\/p>\n But there is a more critical point.<\/p>\n THE NOMINATION PROCESS: WHO BECAME A CANDIDATE AND FOR WHAT?<\/strong><\/p>\n In the March 31st elections, there were dozens of CHP candidates. The most critical allegation circulating in the rumor mill is this: If someone has paid to become a mayor, this is not just an ethical problem. It is a direct surrender of the will of the people to money.<\/p>\n Because that seat is occupied not by the vote of the people, but by the power of money.<\/p>\n RALLIES AND MONEY TRAFFIC: UNANSWERED QUESTIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n The rally process initiated by Ekrem \u0130mamo\u011flu after the local elections is the most concrete pillar of this debate.<\/p>\n Private planes, helicopters, giant stages... Let's do a simple calculation: Considering 81 provinces, the cost of transportation alone exceeds millions of dollars. And now the most critical question:<\/p>\n Where does Ekrem Imamoglu get this money?<\/p>\n The salary of the Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality is obvious. \nFor a few hours of round-trip use, this figure reaches 30 thousand dollars.<\/p>\n
\nAdd to this the stage, crew, accommodation and other expenses and you have a huge budget.<\/p>\n
\nSince there is no official candidate, there is no fundraising.
\nFunding on this scale from the CHP headquarters is clearly not visible, and even such financial support cannot officially exist.<\/p>\n
\nEither there is an undisclosed source,
\nor a financing model that is hidden from the public.<\/p>\n
\nnor a statement that satisfies the public...<\/p>\n
\nThis suggests that the incidents may be systematic rather than individual.<\/p>\n
