Turkey's intercontinental location offers a strategic advantage that can have a direct impact on energy routes, logistics lines and trade flows.

A remarkable observation in this context is the following:
In contrast to the global power of the United States, which has historically been based on maritime dominance, Turkey can come to the fore with a land-based strategy, thereby reducing its dependence on critical transit points such as the Strait of Hormuz.

Kılıçdaroğlu also points out that imperial powers shape their foreign policies not through one-dimensional goals, but through multiple scenarios, suggesting that Turkey needs to develop this multi-layered strategic mindset.

2015 to Today: ’Central Turkey“ is More than a Project

These evaluations inevitably lead to the conclusion that the “project of the century” was presented to the public by Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu during the 2015 election process. “Central Turkey Project” reminds us again.

This project, which was poorly understood by many circles at the time, was actually a holistic model that aimed to transform Turkey's geopolitical position into an economic and strategic power.

During our meeting today, we had the opportunity to discuss how important this project has become at this point and the visionary perspective behind it. For my part, I expressed that this approach, which was put forward years ago, has become much more meaningful in light of the transformations taking place on a global scale today.

Geopolitical Reality and Missed Time

Today, the world is undergoing a transformation process in which supply chains are being rebuilt, logistics lines are being redefined and energy transit is becoming a strategic advantage.

Countries in this new order:

Controlling trade routes,

Establishing logistics centers,

It has moved towards building structures that integrate production and distribution.

“The ”Central Turkey" project was an approach that foresaw this transformation years in advance. It aimed to transform Turkey from a mere transit country into a center where global trade is managed.

But it is not just a matter of missing an economic opportunity.
The real issue is the preference for day-saving approaches over vision.

Because we know; When truth is postponed, the price grows.

Visionary: Reading the Future, Not the Present

At the point we have reached today, it is clear that;
Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's approach goes beyond short-term political debates and is based on long-term strategic wisdom.

“The ”Central Turkey" project is not only an economic development model;
It is also the expression of a strong vision of what role Turkey should play in the world system.

Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu's recent article in T24 is a reminder of a long overdue truth.

More than a Project, a Search for Direction

Today it is not just a question of remembering a project that was put forward in the past.
The real issue is Turkey's:

How to exploit its geographical advantages,

What position it will take in the global system,

And with which strategic mind it will march into the future.

“Central Turkey” is a powerful answer to these questions.
And today, it remains an opportunity that can be realized with the right political will and strategic determination.

Because it should not be forgotten:
A country's destiny is determined not only by the means it possesses, but also by the conscience and wisdom with which it approaches those means.

Kadir POLAT

[285
289
0":"post-284887","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-politika","8":"tag-manset
["GET
