The government in Turkey is no longer doing politics; it is forcibly trying to hold together policies that simultaneously frustrate each other. What emerges is not a \u201cbalance\u201d but a system of open contradiction.<\/p>\n

On the one hand, there are messages of \u201cd\u00e9tente\u201d, \u201cnormalization\u201d and sometimes even \u201cpeace\u201d.
\nOn the other hand, investigations, dismissals and trustee practices against opposition municipalities continue.<\/p>\n

To pretend that this is not a contradiction is no longer just a political choice; it is a denial of reality.<\/p>\n

The government led by Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan is sending a message to international markets by calling for a \u201creturn to rationality\u201d in the economy. But at the same time, at home, it continues with practices that stretch the law and make the judiciary look like an extension of politics. It ignores this simple fact:<\/p>\n

In a country where the law does not inspire confidence, no economic program can inspire confidence.<\/p>\n

But the real harsh picture emerges in this selective approach to nature and citizens.<\/p>\n

Olive groves are being opened for mining.
\nForests are being allocated to energy projects.
\nBays that are natural protected areas are being opened for development.<\/p>\n

All this is done in the name of \u201cpublic interest\u201d.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the same state appears elsewhere with a completely different understanding of law:<\/p>\n

The small structure built by the villagers is being demolished.
\nThe hobby garden is being destroyed.
\nThe modest living spaces that people have built with their own labor are being destroyed overnight.<\/p>\n

There is no gray area here anymore. The issue is clear:<\/p>\n

If the law is flexible for big capital and hardens for citizens, this is not a rule of law.<\/p>\n

This is a regime of choice.<\/p>\n

Today the government thinks it can do everything at the same time:
\nThat you can talk about peace and increase repression at the same time,
\nthat you can claim to protect nature and market it at the same time,
\ncan both reassure investors and render the law moot.<\/p>\n

But that's not how the real world works.<\/p>\n

A politics that carries so many contradictions at the same time will eventually collapse under its own weight.<\/p>\n

Confucius' words here are no longer an exhortation, but a diagnosis:
\nThe government is not chasing two rabbits.<\/p>\n

He runs after whatever he finds.<\/p>\n

And this disorganization is no longer a strategy, but a loss of control.<\/p>\n

The result is obvious:<\/p>\n

There is no trust in the law.
\nEconomic stability is fragile.
\nThe sense of justice in society has been damaged.<\/p>\n

Because it is no longer about wrong politics.<\/p>\n

It is a matter of a deliberate and willful order of contradictions.<\/p>\n
