This understanding is a mortar that unites differences, not divides them.

When we take a bird's eye view of the social, economic and political situation in Turkey today, we see that we are faced with a picture that is too deep to be explained by the classic “frog metaphor”. It is as if society has been dragged to a point where it reacts in the same way no matter what the circumstances.

Siyasi hesaplar uğruna derinleşen kutuplaşma, artan ekonomik sıkıntılar ve sosyal çürüme artık inkâr edilemez bir gerçekliktir. Özellikle başkanlık sistemiyle birlikte siyasetin %50+1 denklemine indirgenmesi, toplumu keskin hatlarla ayrıştırmış; ortak paydaları zayıflatmıştır.

Add to this the issue of uncontrolled migration and refugees, and it is not difficult to see that the country is caught in the middle of an equation with many unknowns.

Worse still, in such a critical geography, going through such a sensitive process, society's threshold of tolerance has fallen and political debates have turned into insulting language rather than a platform for generating ideas. Even on issues concerning the unity of the country, instead of producing common sense, the parties blame each other.

This situation facilitates the work of foreign powers, terrorist organizations and malicious structures.

When we get to the heart of the matter, we find three main elements: Economy, Religion and understanding of Atatürk.

Foreign dependency in the economy and the lack of a national production and development model have made the country fragile.

In the religious sphere, approaches that are far from sincerity and instrumentalize religious values undermine social trust.

On the other hand, the tendency of some circles claiming to be Atatürkists to use Atatürk instead of understanding him, and their distant stance towards religious values, harm social cohesion.

As a result, the economy is dependent on foreigners, religion is abused and Atatürk's ideas are left unattended.

However, the mortar of this country is a struggle for existence in poverty.

Even under the most difficult conditions, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk succeeded in uniting the whole society, whether Turkish, Kurdish, Arab, Laz, Circassian, Alevi or Sunni. This spirit of unity is the foundation of the struggle against imperialism.

Today, although conditions are much more favorable than in the past, we are struggling to restore the same spirit of unity.

What needs to be done at this point is clear: Uniting in Atatürk.

Uniting in Atatürk;

It is a meeting of the minds,

It is to build an identity on the basis of citizenship,

It is to aim for economic independence,

It is based on science and merit-based development,

It means living one's religion to the fullest and not being used by the religious. It means adopting a sincere religious life.

It is to pursue a peaceful but determined foreign policy.

This means 86 million people living in peace, brotherhood and prosperity.

One of the biggest threats Turkey faces is ethnic-based segregation and identity politics. However, the definition of nation put forward by Atatürk is inclusive:

“The people of Turkey who founded the Republic of Turkey are called the Turkish nation.”

This expression is not exclusionary but unifying.

Today, lasting success in the fight against terrorism is only possible if society unites around a common spirit. That spirit is the spirit of national unity set forth by Atatürk.

The unitary state structure and the understanding of secularism, one of Atatürk's most fundamental principles, guarantee the coexistence of differences on the basis of equal citizenship. Secularism is an insurance that unites, not divides.

Conclusion;

A sense of common history, common citizenship law and the ideal of a common future...
All this is called Atatürk.

That's why;
Atatürk in politics,
Ataturk in Security,
Atatürk in social peace...

Because today, uniting in Atatürk is not a choice; it is a necessity for the future of Turkey.

The unitary state structure and the understanding of secularism, one of Atatürk's most fundamental principles, guarantee the coexistence of differences on the basis of equal citizenship.
