There will be a knock on the door in the morning.
\nNeighbors who normally don't even say hello,
\nwill be celebrating Eid at the door.<\/p>\n
A hand will be extended.
\nEye to eye.
\nVoices will soften.<\/p>\n
Because on Eid we remember that we are human.<\/p>\n
Today no one will be harsh with anyone.
\nNo one will scold anyone in the hospital.
\nNo one will run over anyone in traffic.
\nPeople will not try to oppress each other at work.<\/p>\n
For one day, everyone will behave as they should.<\/p>\n
And nothing will spoil.<\/p>\n
No one will be harmed.
\nThe world will not collapse.<\/p>\n
Even the opposite
\nman will become a little more human.<\/p>\n
And what happens on other days<\/p>\n
\u201cWe say we are busy.
\n\u201cWe say, \u201dWe are tired\".
\n\u201cLife is hard,\u201d we say.<\/p>\n
That's right.
\nBut it is not enough.<\/p>\n
Because one does not become hurtful just because one is tired.
\nHe does not act unjustly just because he is forced to.<\/p>\n
At some point this

Because in this system, the hard one moves faster.

On Eid, we pause, we get ourselves in order.<\/p>\n
For one day, no one is trying not to offend anyone.
\nFor one day everyone gets a little better.<\/p>\n
So it can be done.<\/p>\n
So it is not a question of not knowing.<\/p>\n
Want.<\/p>\n
What would change if life was a holiday<\/p>\n
It's not that big of a deal.<\/p>\n
People didn't tire each other so much.
\nNo one would be a burden on anyone.
\nThose who had power did not try to oppress.<\/p>\n
Everyone is fine today.<\/p>\n
We see it every year.<\/p>\n
So it is time to say it clearly<\/p>\n
It's not that people don't know how to be good.
