Communism in Turkey is an ideology that is not understood. Today, when you say \u201ccommunism\u201d and \u201cleft\u201d, there is a voice from every head. Even worse, the ideological weaknesses of young people are being exploited to lure young people to the hands of contractors who devoted their lives to the fight against communism and later became social democrats.<\/p>\n
Communism is not an ideology that exists so that someone can work as a contractor, chase tenders in the municipality, use people's taxes to recruit delegates at the pavilion. Communism is being on the side of the worker, the laborer, the oppressed against the exploitation of capital.<\/p>\n
So what is real communism and real revolutionary stance? I'll explain it to the best of my ability.<\/p>\n
Communism is first and foremost a labor front. It is standing on the side of the worker who sweats in the factory, the farmer who burns in the sun in the fields, the porter who carries loads until he has a hump on his back. Communism is not for someone to enjoy a million-dollar villa, but for everyone to live a life worthy of human dignity.<\/p>\n
Communism is not taking orders from Moscow, treason or siding with terrorist organizations, as some circles in Turkey believe today. Communism is siding with the child who cannot find a morsel of bread at home, the worker who is fired, the teacher who seeks his rights, the young person whose right to housing is taken away.<\/p>\n
The real revolutionary stance is not to be comfortable in the seat of authority. The real revolutionary stance is not to make speeches in the gilded halls of parliament. The real revolutionary stance is to fight in the people, with the people, for the people.<\/p>\n
The real revolutionary is the one who works day and night for the organization of the working class, who goes on hunger strike next to the striking worker, who tries to bring hope to the black face of the miner in resistance. A real revolutionary is one who fights not for the tuition money of university students, but for the human right to education.<\/p>\n
Today, unfortunately, communism and leftist values have been transformed into empty labels. People who devoted most of their lives to the fight against communism have suddenly become social democrats. Now the same people are running after tenders from municipalities with rosaries in their hands and suits on their backs. They are having fun in pavilions and recruiting delegates in nightclubs with the people's taxes.<\/p>\n
What about the youth? The ideological weaknesses of our youth are being exploited. Young people who have ideals, who dream of a better world, who want equality and justice, follow these fake leftists, these renegades, these contractors with anap. They fall for their \u201crevolutionary\u201d show, they fall for their \u201csocialist\u201d cover.<\/p>\n
However, they should know that a real communist is not a contractor who calculates day and night and thinks about how to earn more. A real communist is not a crook who eats the people's money in the pavilion. A real communist is not a renegade who sides with the bosses who are enemies of the workers.<\/p>\n
Or chasing delegates in the pavilion to oust the former president.<\/p>\n
Communism is a way of life. It is to stand by the people not only in rhetoric but also in action. It is to stand by the laborers at all times, not just at election time. It is to fight not only for the showcase, but to pay the price when necessary.<\/p>\n
The biggest reason why communism is not understood in Turkey today is that some of those who claim to represent it are actually standing right in front of it. The real revolutionary stance is not to run after office, position, money, stamps; it is to fight for the real liberation of the people, for the liberation of the working people, for a world without exploitation.<\/p>\n
Communism is for a world where everyone can live humanely, not for someone to live in their million-dollar villas. And true revolutionaries are those who pay the price for this cause, not those who make them pay the price.<\/p>\n
