How can the wrong time, the wrong method and lack of information turn a just cause into an unjust cause?

When, how and with whom is as important as the idea you are defending.<\/p>\n
We have said it many times and we say it again:
\nIf you defend a right cause at the wrong time, you will be wrong when you are right.
\nThis is exactly what is happening today.<\/p>\n
The \u201canti-sharia declaration\u201d issued by some circles, who consider themselves \u201cstaunch defenders of secularism\u201d, during Ramadan has neither served secularism nor contributed to social peace.<\/p>\n
On the contrary, it was a bullet in its own foot.<\/p>\n
The questions that need to be asked are obvious:
\nWho timed this declaration?
\nWith which political mind was it prepared?
\nWhat message did they want to send and to whom?<\/p>\n
To serve such a text under the name of \u201cdefense of secularism\u201d during Ramadan, when religious sensitivities are at their peak, is nothing but political blindness.<\/p>\n
This is not a defense, it is a clear provocation.<\/p>\n
It is not only a question of timing.
\nWhat is Sharia?
\nWhat is secularism?<\/p>\n
Are you really knowledgeable about these issues?
\nHas a theologian been consulted?
\nHas an academic study been done?
\nHas the social impact been measured?<\/p>\n
No, no, no.<\/p>\n
A sloganic text was prepared based on hearsay and then opened for signature \u201cin the name of secularism\u201d.<\/p>\n
To oppose something, one must first know about it.
\nReaction without information produces only noise.<\/p>\n
Secularism in this country is not the monopoly of a certain group.
\nToday, there are millions of people in the ruling base who are sincerely committed to secularism.
\nThe vast majority of those who vote for the opposition already hold this principle.<\/p>\n
So there is no problem of secularism in society.
\nThe problem is the political shortsightedness of some \u201cknow-it-alls\u201d.<\/p>\n
It's the same scenario every Ramadan:
\nSame reflexes,
\nSame mistakes,
\nSame traps,
\nSame vote loss...<\/p>\n
Then the elections come and there is frustration at the ballot box. \nand ignore one of its most fundamental institutions.<\/p>\nThere is no politics with imaginary threats<\/h3>\n
\nIf you don't know how to swim in the sea, creating fear of the ocean is of no use to anyone.
\nThis is Turkey.
\nIt's not Miami.
\nJAWS movies are not politics.
\nThis society has real problems:
\nLack of livelihood, justice, education, unemployment...
\nBut some still play politics by creating imaginary enemies.<\/p>\nThe Real Danger: Those Who Don't Know What They Don't Know<\/h3>\n
\nThe one who does not know what he does not know is a disaster.
\nThis is the source of many of the problems we face today.<\/p>\n
\nThe one who thinks little,
\nA political understanding that never questions...<\/p>\n
\nThis nation will not learn to protect its revolutions from you.<\/p>\n
\nYou will never see power, nor will you give hope to society.<\/p>\n
