This is the sediment left in me by a collective decay. Because when some societies become impoverished, they not only lose their pockets; they also lose their words, their concepts, their sense of shame. We are exactly at this stage.
Morality in this country is no longer a set of values; a stick, a threat, a tool of alignment. It is carried like an identity card: “Are you with us or not?”

This is precisely why it is possible to be hostile to the beer drinker and admire the thief. Because the issue is not the crime; it is which side the criminal stands on. Morality is no longer measured by behavior, but by belonging.
Do you know why honesty has become a burden?

Because honesty is loneliness.
Lies are crowded.
Crowds walk with lies.
Crowds want slogans, not ideas.
Crowds look at the glare; they don't want to see the shadows. Because shadows are a reminder of complicity.

You worry about a woman's hair, skirt and lipstick, but you look the other way when her life is slipping away. Because you do not see the woman as an “individual”, an area that needs to be controlled as a sacred person. His life is not sacred, your domination is sacred.
As she walks down the street, a piece of her heart is stolen.

But you are still discussing her makeup.
This is not morality; this is, power fantasy.

I am tired of those who have empty pots at home but play lavishly in the pavilion.
Because poverty is no longer just economic in this country; a moral drift. People don't feed their lives, they feed their shop windows. They run away from real life and take refuge in false glitter. Poverty is hard to face, so it is covered up with entertainment.

Saying “Germany is jealous of us” with a foreclosure notice in your pocket is not just ignorance; psychological defense mechanism. The mind that cannot accept reality produces imaginary victories. That's why on TV they are always saying “we are growing”, because it takes courage to say that we are shrinking.

Debt at home, hamas on the screen.
Hope is now the most expensive product in this country.

Those who think cursing Mustafa Kemal while kneeling to their sheikh is worship...
Here we need to pause and think. Because this is not a matter of faith; this is, historical revenge complex. Those who cannot come to terms with knowledge fight with symbols. They sanctify their own ignorance by attacking the founder of a life they have not read.

I told you that faith blossoms in the heart; you have surrounded that garden with fences. You planted fear inside, not love. That is why worship no longer produces compassion; it produces obedience.
It is no coincidence that those who remain silent while children are abused in foundations attack young people laughing in the park.

Because it takes courage to face the real crime; it is easy to attack the one who laughs. The laughter of the young disturbs you because the joy stolen from your life shines on someone else's face.

Cheering for the palace when you can't pay the rent...
This is not just a contradiction; aesthetics of obedience. People make their poverty bearable by sanctifying it. Applause is a rhythmic noise that covers the pain.
Those who bow down to the oppressor and bully the poor...
In this society, fear is taught as a virtue. Silence against the powerful is considered “wisdom” and hitting the weak is considered “courage”. But this is only the mask of fear.

It is no longer an individual selfishness to eat when one's neighbor is hungry; a systemic normal. As the walls rise, consciences shrink. Everyone retreats into their own shells, because solidarity is dangerous for power.

A nod to the strong and a slap to the weak...
This is not a character flaw; this is, a learned behavior. Because in this system, standing against the strong is a risk, hitting the weak is free.

Talking behind your back and twisting to your face...
It has become the official language of this society. Words are daggers in the back and smiles in the front. Because honesty requires a price; hypocrisy is comfort.

Those who cowered to their manager and shouted at the tea seller...
They are the smallest copies of power. The oppressed do not hesitate when they have the opportunity to oppress. Because he remembers not what was done to him, but what he could not do.

Criticizing Atatürk by not being able to read a calendar leaf...
Ignorance is always aggressive against knowledge. Reading is laborious; shouting is easy. That is why ignorance speaks loudly.

Buying shoes for your child but buying a car for your lover...
This is not love; this is, demonstration. The child is the future; the show is today. In this society, today has always beaten tomorrow.

Not being able to pay the gas bill and saying “we found reserves”...
The warmth of the screen when the house is cold is the comfort of a lie. Truth makes you cold; a lie makes you warm.

“Those who say, ”I always buy 50 liras"...
This sentence is not the result of economic illiteracy; the slogan of denial. Life is expensive, but it is denied because it hurts to realize it.

Silencing them with the flag and the call to prayer when they talk about interest and inflation...
This is not a debate; emotional blackmail. The truth is suppressed by sacred symbols. But the more the truth is suppressed, the harder it comes back.

Those who get a job with a torpedo and give haram-halal lectures...
Talking about morality without hearing the cries of unemployed youth is immoral.

And I'm sick of them:
You don't eat Cheddar, Mozzarella, Pecorino Romano, Ricotta;
who think it's all “curd cheese anyway”.

Not curious about what you don't know,
I'm tired of those who belittle what they don't know instead of learning.

Without a taste of the world,
who dismiss the world by saying “it's the same thing anyway”.
There are people in this country who pass judgment on a flavor that has never touched their mouths.
They decide without tasting,
they know without seeing,
They criticize without reading.
‘The mentality that thinks ‘cheddar' and 'curd' are the same,
law and justice,
religion and morality,
He thinks criticism and betrayal are the same.

Who doesn't know the relationship that mozzarella has with milk, with time, with labor;
Who has never tasted the patience of Pecorino, the delicacy of Ricotta,
that life is one type, one taste, one truth.

Diversity scares them.
The difference feels like a threat.
Because recognizing what is different,
confronts you with yourself.
And the most feared thing in this country,
is to look in the mirror.

The mind that dismisses everything as “just curd cheese”,
He also passes everything off as “homeland”, “religion”, “survival”.
He avoids details.
He hates nuance.
Because nuance requires thinking,
to think is courage.
The same palate blindness,
it's the same mind blindness.
Tongue without taste,
cannot discern truth.
The mind that cannot discriminate,
cannot produce justice.
And yes...
“Those who say ”Turkey is paradise" but do not see the world...
Believing without seeing, loving without questioning, defending without thinking... This trio is the mental shackle of this country.

In short, friends...
The ones who hunt hyenas and lions,
from the novice ducks who make a flight documentary for eagles,
I'm fed up with those who call religion religion.
But do you know what is the most painful?
These contradictions should no longer surprise anyone.
And I am most angry with myself.
For still being patient.
Because I still say, “Maybe they'll change.”.
But enough is enough.
Because silence is not neutrality; it is complicity.
Because laughter is not innocence; it is flight.

I'm fed up.
But I am not hopeless.
Because every rotten order fears voices first.
And the voices of those who are fed up are now growing louder.
One day, the right will win.
When that day comes,
everyone hiding in the darkness today
will have to face the light.
And yes...
Shadows,
under the sun
melts.

I'm fed up.
