With the appointments made by President Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan, important changes were made in the Cabinet.<\/p>\n

According to the decisions published in the Official Gazette, Mustafa \u00c7ift\u00e7i became the Minister of Interior. Minister of Justice is Ak\u0131n G\u00fcrlek.<\/p>\n

According to the appointment decision, Erzurum Governor Mustafa \u00c7ift\u00e7i was appointed as the Minister of Interior. Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor Ak\u0131n G\u00fcrlek was appointed as the Minister of Justice.<\/p>\n

Ak\u0131n G\u00fcrlek had prepared the indictment of the IBB investigation.<\/p>\n

STATEMENT FROM DISMISSED MINISTERS<\/strong><\/p>\n

Suspended Justice Ministers Y\u0131lmaz Tun\u00e7 and Ali Yerlikaya thanked President Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan in statements on their social media accounts.<\/p>\n

Tun\u00e7 used the following expressions in his post:<\/p>\n

\u201cIt has always been a source of pride for us to stand by our President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan and to give our hearts to our cause.<\/p>\n

In our blessed journey that started in 2001, after serving as the Founding District Chairman of the AK Party, Member of Parliament, Chairman of the Justice Commission of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Deputy Chairman of the AK Party Parliamentary Group, I was entrusted with the Ministry of Justice by our President on June 4, 2023, which further increased our responsibility to serve our nation and our state.<\/p>\n

During our 23 years of governments, we have had the honor of shouldering the reforms carried out under the leadership of our President to achieve a high standard of democracy in our country and the arbitration of the rule of law.<\/p>\n

From now on, we will continue to sweat for our country and nation, and work for the Turkish Century with the excitement of the first day.<\/p>\n

I wish Mr. Ak\u0131n G\u00fcrlek, who was appointed as the Minister of Justice with the blessings of Mr. President, great success in his duty.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ali Yerlikaya said the following in his post:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cWith the consent and appreciation of our President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan, I hand over my duty as the Minister of Interior, which I started on June 4, 2023, to my esteemed brother Mustafa \u00c7ift\u00e7i. I congratulate him and wish him success in his new duty. May Allah bless him with good luck.<\/p>\n

I would like to express my gratitude to Mr. President for his great support during my ministry.<\/p>\n

I would like to sincerely thank each and every member of our Internal Affairs Family who work hard for the peace and security of our country.<\/p>\n
