The excitement of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) in 2025 is giving way to the era of Agentic AI in 2026. These systems no longer just answer questions; they can execute complex workflows (banking transactions, supply chain management, legal processes) without human supervision.<\/p>\n

-The Deepening of Techno-Feudalism:<\/em><\/p>\n

Big Tech platforms will continue to behave like modern \u201coverlords\u201d with their capacity to process data. In 2026, we will see these platforms interfering more and more in the sphere of sovereignty of states (digital currencies, judicial algorithms).<\/p>\n

-The New Dimension of Surveillance Capitalism:<\/em><\/p>\n

With the increase in the \u201cemotional intelligence\u201d capabilities of artificial intelligence, it is expected that we will move to a model where rent is extracted not only from consumers' behavior but also from their momentary emotional states.<\/p>\n

2-Global Economy:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cResilience\u201d and Geo-economic Fragmentation<\/em><\/p>\n

While the global economy will grow modestly at around %3.1 in 2026, the focus will shift from productivity to resilience.<\/p>\n

-Friend-shoring:<\/em><\/p>\n

Global supply chains will be restructured not on cost but on geopolitical trust. This could deepen the economic cold war between the blocs.<\/p>\n

-Stagflation Light:<\/em><\/p>\n

There could be an \u201cinterim period\u201d in which inflation remains slightly above targets in advanced economies due to the costs of energy transformation and rising defense spending, but the recession is not fully realized.<\/p>\n

Turkey's Reflection of 2026<\/h3>\n

For Turkey, 2026 will be a year when the search for macroeconomic stability and technological transformation (digital sovereignty) intersect.<\/p>\n

-Growth and Inflation Balance:<\/em><\/p>\n

Uluslararas\u0131 kurulu\u015flar (IMF, D\u00fcnya Bankas\u0131) T\u00fcrkiye i\u00e7in %3.5 – %4.0 band\u0131nda bir b\u00fcy\u00fcme \u00f6ng\u00f6r\u00fcyor. Enflasyonun ise 2025’teki s\u0131k\u0131 para politikas\u0131n\u0131n gecikmeli etkisiyle %20’li seviyelere oturmas\u0131, ancak hayat pahal\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131n yap\u0131sal nedenlerle (kira, g\u0131da) bir s\u00fcre daha hissedilmesi bekleniyor.<\/p>\n

-Middle Corridor and Logistics Power:<\/em><\/p>\n

The \u201cnear-shoring\u201d trend in global supply chains will continue to keep Turkey as an indispensable production base for Europe. In particular, the green energy and electric vehicle (Togg and its subsidiary industry) ecosystem could be the engine of growth.<\/p>\n

-Technological Hegemony Exam:<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cThe issue of the \u201drole of the state\" also applies to Turkey. While trying to maintain its digital sovereignty with domestic artificial intelligence models and data centers, Turkey will be under pressure from global technology capital (techno-feudal structures) to become a market area.<\/p>\n

An Analytical Synthesis:<\/p>\n

From my perspective, in the context of my thesis \u201cThe Hegemony of Capital\u201d, 2026 will be the year when nation states attempt to enact tougher laws (similar to the EU AI Act) on taxation of technological cartels (platform lords) and data security. But how successful will this be in the face of the fluidity of capital? This opens up a new organizing space for left politics: The defense of the \u201cDigital Commons\u201d.<\/p>\n

In 2026, Turkey may face a situation where economically \u2019the dust has settled\u201c but technologically \u201dnew dependency relations\u201c are being defined.<\/p>\n

In the light of these insights, it is also possible to make a more in-depth analysis of the reflections of the concept of \u201ctechno-feudalism\u201d on the labor market in Turkey (gig economy, remote work).<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
