\nBut most have been forgotten.
\nWithout taking responsibility in real life,
\nby sharing and liking on social media
\nwe cleared our conscience.
\nThe screens were bright.
\nThe words were crowded.
\nConscience was often digital.
\nA lot happened in 2025.
\nSo many things shook us.
\nThen another agenda came.
\nThen we forgot.
\nThere was a disaster.
\nShared.
\nResponse.
\nAfter a while it was moved down.
\nWe are outraged.
\nWe wrote.
\nWe are relieved.
\nAnd we moved on.
\nThis is how the digital conscience worked.
\nBut the streets were quiet most of the time.
\nWomen were killed.
\nNewborn babies were killed.
\nChildren could not be protected.
\nNature has been massacred.
\nAnimals were wasted.
\nSometimes inside the system,
\nsometimes in neglect,
\nsometimes blatantly.
\nNo one was called to the streets.
\nNobody said \u201cnow is the time\u201d.
\nThose deaths went unclaimed.
\nHe was orphaned.
\nConscience remained on the screen.
\nWhen did the street fill up?
\nWhen a politician's space shrinks.
\nWhen a balance of power is upset.
\nWhen a comfort zone is threatened.
\nNot for man.
\nFor power.
\nFor the position.
\nWe were called \u201cthe people\u201d again.
\nBut most of the time it's just
\nour anger is wanted.
\nOur loyalty.
\nOur side.
\nIt was easy to take sides.
\nOne sentence was enough.
\nA title.
\nA fear.
\n\u201cWe stood next to \u201dwhoever we looked like\".
\nWe did not listen to the other.
\nWe even separated the pain.
\nWe felt sorry for whichever side he was on.
\nThat's how a person is erased.
\nThey were replaced by ID cards.
\nTags.
\nPure.
\nThere was stiffness in front of the curtain.
\nCompromise behind the scenes.
\nFighting on screen.
\nA closed-door deal.
\nThey called it secret diplomacy.
\nSpoken on our behalf,
\nbut we were never asked.
\nThe economic crisis deepened.
\nYoung people have become unhappy.
\nThe future is no longer a promise.
\nBut those responsible were nowhere to be found.
\nIt was always someone else's fault.
\nAlways other reasons.
\nAlways \u201cnow is not the time.\u201d
\nThis year's word was perhaps \u201cconscience\u201d.
\nMuch has been said.
\nIt was shared a lot.
\nIt was consumed a lot.
\nBut conscience,
\nis not just feeling.
\nIt is not just writing.
\nSomeone else's pain
\nis to be able to defend it without asking your side.
\nThe New Year is therefore not just a calendar change,
\na matter of wishes.
\nMy wish is this:
\nThat we don't leave our anger on the screen,
\nthat we don't just fill the streets for the powerful,
\nwomen, children, orphans
\na year in which no one is left unattended.
\nAs the calendar changes,
\nnot content with a digital conscience.
\nremembering the true conscience,
\nthat we can manage to stay human
