{"id":280344,"date":"2025-12-09T11:26:19","date_gmt":"2025-12-09T11:26:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/halkweb.com.tr\/?p=280344"},"modified":"2025-12-09T11:26:19","modified_gmt":"2025-12-09T11:26:19","slug":"lie-spoke-fear-silenced-truth-shouted-silently","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/halkweb.com.tr\/en\/lie-spoke-fear-silenced-truth-shouted-silently\/","title":{"rendered":"Lies Speak, Fear Silences, Truth Shouts Silently"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Every morning for the last two years we have woken up to the same scene:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An anonymous pencil pusher, ink merchants disguised as journalists, propaganda officers with diplomas selling comfortable ignorance hiding behind the veil of academics, on-screen puppets serving lies in a glamor package...<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They all have one thing in common: They can't rest without performing an \u201cattack on Kemal K\u0131l\u0131\u00e7daro\u011flu\u201d ritual before starting their day.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And why?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Why are they so angry?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Why are they so afraid?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The answer is actually as simple as we all know:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Because if he speaks, the truth will come out.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Because if he speaks, the people become the agenda.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Because if he speaks, he will be asked about what was stolen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And worst of all: People start thinking.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That's why they tried to silence him.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He asked:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWhere is the 128 billion dollars?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cHow was the people's property lent to the forbidden gangs?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cFor whom does justice exist in this country?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Because they thought that if he kept quiet, the issue would be closed. But the question grew and grew. Every penny that was stolen, every hope that was lost, every table that shrunk has been accounted for. Not only the political power, but also those who sat at the same table, those who smiled in the same photo, were about to be held accountable. That is why they wanted to silence him. Because if he speaks, not only his opponents, but also those who walk the same path must look in the mirror. They were afraid lest that mirror be broken, lest there be a confrontation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Because if K\u0131l\u0131\u00e7daro\u011flu speaks, the shiny showcases covering the poverty of the people will crack. Because if he speaks, everyone will see who condemns this nation to the leftovers of their own table. Because if he speaks, the dark pages not only of today but also of yesterday will be opened, not with unknown perpetrators but with realities whose perpetrators are remembered and whose faces are visible. And most importantly: Because if he speaks, the nation's memory will be refreshed. Whatever is wanted to be forgotten will be remembered again.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Isn't that why all this effort?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Silencing, discrediting, isolating...<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0Because if his voice is raised once more, the questions will multiply: Why is this country condemned to darkness? Why do young people fill their suitcases with their dreams before leaving the country? Why is the wealth of a handful of people growing at the expense of the poverty of millions? And these questions will turn into a great reckoning, not of a leader, but of an era.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is the real issue: It is not a person they want to silence, but a collective memory born out of questions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Because in this country there is no accountability for stolen money<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We have seen many similar examples throughout history.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We know very well how those who stand for the people are targeted.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Leaders who wanted to give land to the poor, who wanted to bring justice to the people, who wanted to end exploitation suffered the same fate.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Here are a few striking examples from history...<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tiberius and Gaius Gracchus - 2nd century BC, Rome<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They wanted to distribute land to poor farmers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When the Roman aristocracy realized that their \u201cuntouchable wealth\u201d would be touched, they slaughtered the brothers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Julius Caesar - 44 BC, Rome<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Empowered by popular support, he wanted to reform for the benefit of the people.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Aristocrats and vested interests united and he was assassinated in an assassination that has been told throughout history.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wat Tyler - 1381, England<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He was the leader of peasants rebelling against feudal taxes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He never got up from the table where he met with the King's men.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thomas M\u00fcntzer - 1525, Germany<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He defended the peasant's freedom and justice.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For speaking for the poor<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0tortured and executed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Charles III - 1649, England<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He confronted those who wanted constitutional rule against absolute power.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He was tried and executed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Patrice Lumumba - 1961, Congo<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Its independence, national unity and anti-imperialist stance ran counter to Western interests.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He was overthrown by a coup, he was brutally murdered.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Salvador Allende - 1973, Chile<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Land reform, social justice, the rights of the poor...<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He was ousted from power in a US-backed coup.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">History is very generous in extending the list.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These examples tell us this:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Anyone and everyone who is on the side of the people, who demands equality, who goes after the money stolen from the people has been targeted. These attacks are the panic of money, power and capital circles that seem untouchable.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Throughout history, powerful elites could not tolerate their wealth being questioned.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Today, they are not going to stop...<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These attacks are the panic of money, power and the seemingly untouchable circles of capital.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is where the question arises:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Is what we call change really a transformation, or is it just a changing of the guard where only the faces at the cash register change?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If the goal is to reproduce the order we are tired of and to make up the same wrong with new names, then the painful cycle of history will begin again.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Real change does not start by changing the seats of power, but by overthrowing them for the people.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0But do we have the courage to demand it?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If a revolution is nothing more than a change of power, it is not a change, it is a transfer of power.
