\nToday is World Disability Day.
\nAnd I say today:

I know this sentence will be heavy for some people.

\nYes, maybe I am the physically disabled one.
\nBut the real obstacle;
\nIn the eye that does not see pain,
\nIn the deaf ear,
\nIt is the conscience that does not understand.<\/p>\n

You can dress up a day as \u201cawareness\u201d,

Awareness does not fit in one day!
\nEmpathy cannot be written on an agenda!<\/p>\n
At home

\nIn the market
\nIn front of the television
\nWhoever can pick up the remote,
\nBut there are some who can't hold a remote control.
\nAnyone can look at the screen,
\nBut there are others who see the world through darkness.
\nMost of the time we are looking...

I am talking about the mentality that gives flowers today for the day of the disabled and parks them on the sidewalk tomorrow. I am talking about the understanding that gives a stage today and does not give a job tomorrow. I am talking about the conscience that shares today and does not even say hello tomorrow.<\/p>\n
As long as we talk about the problems of people with disabilities only \u201ctoday\u201d, the real obstacle will continue to grow within us.<\/p>\n
Disability is not only in the body.
\nThe main obstacle;
\nIt is the paralysis of compassion.
\nIt is the lameness of justice.
\nIt is the blinding of equality.<\/p>\n
