There has been a new development regarding Salim G\u00fcran, the uncle of Narin G\u00fcran\u2014who was murdered in Diyarbak\u0131r\u2014and who is currently in custody. Y\u0131lmaz Demiro\u011flu, the G\u00fcran family\u2019s attorney, shared Uncle Salim G\u00fcran\u2019s internet activity log on his social media account. The post claimed that during the most critical time period surrounding Narin\u2019s murder, Uncle Salim G\u00fcran never let his phone out of his sight for even a moment.<\/p>\n

In his post, Attorney Y\u0131lmaz Demiro\u011flu made the following statements:<\/p>\n

\u2018Salim\u2019s phone never slipped from his hand during those critical hours\u2019<\/strong>
\n\u201cSalim called me from upstairs; we went into Arif\u2019s house together, we wrapped Narin\u2019s lifeless body in a blanket together, and Salim drove up to the front of my house from the direction of the mosque and took the blanket back.\u2019 It has been scientifically established that this statement by N.B. is a completely fabricated story.<\/p>\n

\u201cA technical analysis of the defendants\u2019 phone image backups revealed that, during the critical time period of 3:14 p.m. to 3:40 p.m., S.G. appeared to have kept his hands on his phone and the internet at all times, and that the activity described in N.B.\u2019s account did not occur.\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cPart of S.G.\u201ds phone call records has been made public. N.B.\u2019s story has fallen apart.\u201d<\/p>\n
