<\/p>\nBTP Leader H\u00fcseyin Ba\u015f Evaluated the Agenda at Eski\u015fehir Congress<\/p>\n
Independent Turkey Party (BTP) Chairman H\u00fcseyin Ba\u015f attended the 9th Ordinary Eski\u015fehir Provincial Congress of his party and made statements on the agenda. Fahri G\u00fcrgenburan was elected as BTP Provincial Chairman in Eski\u015fehir.<\/p>\n
Drawing attention to the climate of criticism in Turkey, Ba\u015f said, \u201cExpressing the wrongdoings of the government is considered \u2018inciting people to hatred and hostility\u2019. Criticizing the President is considered \u2018insulting the President\u2019. Whose interests does the law look after?\u201d he asked.<\/p>\n
Referring to his party's understanding of opposition, Ba\u015f said, \u201cWhatever we have objected to for 23 years, we have been right. We are in opposition to correct wrongs, not to annoy the government.\u201d.<\/p>\n
Referring to the discussions about President Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan's candidacy again, Ba\u015f said, \u201cErdo\u011fan was a candidate in 2014, 2018 and 2023 and was elected. According to the Constitution, a person can only run for the third time in a renewed election. Well, if you consider the early elections as renewed elections, the parliamentary term increases to 29, but the President can run for the third time, isn't this an inconsistency?\u2019.<\/p>\n
Referring to the \u201cstructure\u201d debates in the football world, Ba\u015f said, \u201cYou should see the real structure in politics. There are always the same commentators in the same discussion programs. BTP cadres can shake the dust out of these debates, but there is no place for them.\u201d.<\/p>\n
Referring to T\u00dcS\u0130AD's criticisms, Ba\u015f said, \u201cWhenever T\u00dcS\u0130AD says something, it benefits the AK Party. Where were you in 2017 and 2010 referendums? Where were you when mines and factories were privatized?\u201d he asked.<\/p>\n
Stating that he was the first political party executive against whom an investigation was launched in the middle of the night, Ba\u015f said, \u201cI went to the testimony alone and came out alone. I will continue to serve my people, but I will not forget that loneliness.\u201d.<\/p>\n
