{"id":278663,"date":"2024-11-07T21:33:33","date_gmt":"2024-11-07T21:33:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/halkweb.com.tr\/?p=278663"},"modified":"2024-11-07T22:03:45","modified_gmt":"2024-11-07T22:03:45","slug":"the-people-will-be-tricked-before-they-are-tricked","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/halkweb.com.tr\/en\/the-people-will-be-tricked-before-they-are-tricked\/","title":{"rendered":"The people will be tricked before they are tricked"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>\u201cWhat have we not done for this homeland!<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Some of us are dead;<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Some of us gave speeches.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>How beautifully Orhan Veli wrote many years ago about those who make hamas in the name of the homeland and those who pay the price for the homeland.<\/p>\n<p>It has not always been the homeland and patriotism that have been abused in this country.<\/p>\n<p>The public also took part in this abuse.<\/p>\n<p>When you look at it, it's \u2018the people's';<br \/>\nIt became a party<br \/>\nIt became a bank<br \/>\nIt became a screen<br \/>\nIt became his bus, his bread, his training center, even his day.<\/p>\n<p>What was the \u2018people's\u2019 day?<\/p>\n<p>If there was a \u2018people's day\u2019 somewhere, whose were the other days?<\/p>\n<p>This people liberated the homeland from captivity when the task fell to them.<br \/>\nThis people saved the deceived governments from betrayal.<br \/>\nThese people worked hard and made something out of nothing.<\/p>\n<p>But whenever he completed his \u2018mission\u2019, those who claimed to be the \u2018true owners of the homeland\u2019 told the people to \u2018go back to the stands\u2019 and they played themselves.<\/p>\n<p>We say that these people will not be spectators but players on the field.<br \/>\nThis people will not be the \u2018reserve force\u2019 that stands at attention when you call them to duty, but the essential element that calls you to \u2018duty\u2019 when you need it.<\/p>\n<p>Halkweb will be the voice of the people, the mouthpiece of the people.<br \/>\nHe will recognize no power above the people, no value more sacred than the people.<\/p>\n<p>He will act with the knowledge that there is no more sacred duty, no higher honor than being the spokesperson of this people whose labor creates both life and the country.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, it will take its power from the people.<\/p>\n<p>He will be in favor of the people, directness, justice and democracy.
