Who is Acun Il\u0131cal\u0131?<\/strong><\/p>\nAli Acun Il\u0131cal\u0131, born in Edirne in 1969, is a Turkish television producer and presenter. He is the producer of Turkish television programs such as Acun Firarda, Var\u0131? Yok musun?, Fear Factor, Survivor, Yetenek Sizsiniz Turkey.<\/p>\n
The second child of Erg\u00fcn and \u0130lknur Il\u0131cal\u0131, born in Erzurum, Il\u0131ca district, Acun was born on May 29, 1969 in Edirne. Acun Il\u0131cal\u0131, a Gemini man, has an older brother named \u00d6mer Cenker Il\u0131cal\u0131. His father was a contractor and his mother was a university educated manager. He has an older brother named \u00d6mer Il\u0131cal\u0131. He started at the age of 5 and completed his primary and secondary education at Edirne \u0130stikl\u00e2l Primary School. Acun started his high school education at Kad\u0131k\u00f6y Maarif College in Istanbul and after graduating from Kad\u0131k\u00f6y Anatolian High School, he enrolled in the Department of English Language Teaching at Istanbul University, but his university life ended after 7 years without graduating. He lost his grandmother and grandfather, whom he expressed in every interview that he loved them very much, in a traffic accident.<\/p>\n
When he was 19 years old, he married Seda Il\u0131cal\u0131 in 1988 and had a daughter named Banu from this marriage. He lost his parents in a traffic accident in 1990, 10 months after the birth of his daughter. He would later describe the incident as follows;<\/p>\n
After divorcing his wife, he had a major accident with his motorcycle on Ba\u011fdat Street in 1994. His close friend sitting behind him lost his life in the accident. Acun Il\u0131cal\u0131's left arm was broken and a platinum was placed in his arm after an operation with 36 stitches.<\/p>\n
In 1995, he started trading by opening a jeans shop, but he was not successful. After his undergraduate education, he took the university exams again and although he won the English Language Teaching department, he gave up studying. Acun met \u0130lker Yasin through a friend and when he impressed him with his knowledge of soccer, he was hired to be tested. Although he was a staunch Fenerbahce fan, he became a Be\u015fikta\u015f correspondent. As a Be\u015fikta\u015f reporter, when he managed to get intimate with football players and conduct special interviews, his star suddenly shone and he was transferred to \u015eansal B\u00fcy\u00fcka's team, Show TV. He became \u015eansal B\u00fcy\u00fcka's favorite employee in Televole fury.<\/p>\n
In the years when Televole was a sports magazine, he started to present a section of his own within this program and traveled around the world within this section. Then he continued to present this episode in 2002 with a separate program called Acun Firarda. It became the most watched travel program and he traveled to 105 countries with this adventure. He took part in the cast of the programs Dokun Bana and Biri Bizi G\u00f6zetliyor and worked as a co-presenter.<\/p>\n
In 2005, he founded the production company Acun Medya. He became the producer, jury and host of Fear Factor, Survivor, Girls - Boys, Survivor Turkey - Greece, Survivor Lions - Canaries, Var\u0131s\u0131n Yok musun, Giants League, Yetenek Sizsiniz and Yok B\u00f6yle Dans. The programs Yoksa R\u00fcya mi (Or is it a dream?) presented by U\u011fur D\u00fcndar and S\u00f6yle S\u00f6yabilirsen (Tell me if you can tell me) presented by Behzat Uygur were also produced by Acun Il\u0131cal\u0131. He also produced and hosted the O Voice Turkey and Survivor Celebrities - Volunteers competitions.<\/p>\n
In 2005, at the age of 36, he became one of the tax record holders.<\/p>\n
He has performed stand-up shows in various parts of Anatolia, especially in universities in Turkey. In his stand-up shows, he told the audience what happened to him during his professional life in a funny language.<\/p>\n
He took part in Show TV's social responsibility project \u201881 Provinces 81 Schools\u2019 and the program raised 3 million 725 thousand 563 YTL.<\/p>\n
