Between 2001 and 2004, Ahmet \u00c7akar, who was a commentator on the Telegol program, was shot with five bullets on February 25, 2004 as he was leaving the health center where he worked as a physician located behind the Profilo Shopping Center in Mecidiyek\u00f6y. The cause of the shooting and the shooters have not been determined, but it is believed that it was because of the comments he made on sports programs.
