In the town of Lutsa, east of the Greek capital Athens, a car with fake German license plates was ambushed and sprayed with bullets yesterday evening. In the incident, 6 people were shot dead with 9 millimeter guns.<\/p>\n

Greek authorities initially suspected that the executioners were Roma or Albanians. However, after investigations, it was revealed that the victims were Turkish citizens.<\/p>\n

Residents told police that they heard more than 150 gunshots. Police responded to the scene and found 6 bodies in and around the Ford car.<\/p>\n

The perpetrators are believed to have summoned the victims to a meeting at the scene and then executed them by surprise.<\/p>\n

One of the dead had arrived illegally<\/strong><\/p>\n

Greek broadcaster ERT reported that police found 25 9-millimeter bullet casings at the scene and that investigations were continuing, while the possibility that these weapons had been used before was also being examined.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, Proto Thema newspaper reported that one of those killed had previously been detained for illegally entering Greece, while Greek police were trying to identify the other 5 people.<\/p>\n

Alleged drug trafficking conflict<\/strong><\/p>\n

Greek media claimed, citing some sources, that those killed were Turks and also had French identity documents.<\/p>\n

The police also announced that they are examining the authenticity of these documents. It was also claimed that the suspected drug traffickers were active in Greece and France.<\/p>\n

The people in the car may not be from the same gang<\/strong><\/p>\n

A source told Proto Thema: \u201cAt the moment it is not known whether those found dead in the same car were from the same gang. Maybe some of them are from rival gangs.\u201d Investigations into the incident are ongoing.<\/p>\n

Attackers and victims know each other<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to Greek media reports, the attackers first opened fire from the front of the car and then targeted the sides of the blue-colored vehicle, killing the passengers and the driver.<\/p>\n

It is also recorded that Greek police are focusing on the possibility of an ambush and that the attackers and the victims knew each other.<\/p>\n

The license plate of the car was fake<\/strong><\/p>\n

Greek police, who are investigating, announced that the license plate of the blue-colored car was fake.<\/p>\n

The Greek police found that the license plate of the vehicle was attached with duct tape and that no weapons or drugs were found in the vehicle.<\/p>\n

Identities revealed<\/strong><\/p>\n

On the other hand, it was learned that the murdered people were members of a criminal network known to the Turkish police and had been the target of police investigations in the past.<\/p>\n

The dead were alleged to be close associates of Baris Boyun, the ringleader of the criminal organization, who was also involved in a series of armed attacks in Turkey and lives as a fugitive in Italy.<\/p>\n

It was noted that Doruk B. and others were close associates of the gang ringleader Bar\u0131\u015f Boyun.<\/p>\n

While the Greek police, who have kept the names of the deceased under wraps, continue to work on the case, it was learned that Doruk B. had escaped from police pursuit with O\u011fuzhan H. a few months ago and fled to the forest in \u00c7ekmek\u00f6y district of Istanbul. O\u011fuzhan H. was caught by Istanbul Organized Police at the border crossing on his way to Georgia illegally in a truck, while Doruk B. was alleged to have fled to Greece by road.<\/p>\n

Baris Boyun, the crime network ringleader who lives in Italy as a fugitive and is known for the motorcycle hitman gangs he established in Istanbul, had previously been attacked abroad.<\/p>\n
