Caucasus Strategic Research Center (Kafkassam) Analyst Serdar Bozdoğan, in his article titled “A Smart Wolf Doesn't Fall into the Same Trap Twice”, drew a parallel between the ‘Turkey without Terror’ process and the ‘change’ process in the CHP during the 38th Ordinary Congress.
“Who organized the group of change-makers in the CHP? What are their goals? Why did the group of change-makers declare Ekrem İmamoğlu as a presidential candidate when there was no election process? If the CHP chairman cannot control the group of change-makers, does the group of change-makers control the chairman?” Bozdogan's article asks questions such as:
“Based on the issues alleged by the party members in the CHP's 2023 congress and still in the judicial process, it is understood that the practices that took place during the local elections under the leadership of the change group after Mr. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu are not the right step.
As a matter of fact, today, when judicial and administrative processes are ongoing, especially Ekrem İmamoğlu's close contact with foreign mission representatives, his representation of the change group, his introduction of Istanbul district candidates without his chairman, and his declaration of himself as a presidential candidate when there are no eggs in the fire, when examined in a very comprehensive manner, negatively affects many areas including Turkey without Terrorism and domestic security policies in line with collective goals.
As a matter of fact, when we look at the ongoing judicial processes of other CHP municipalities, we see that not only are the practices separate and distant from each other, but systematically the same methods are being followed. Then the following question comes to mind?
Who organized the group of change-makers in the CHP? What are their goals? Why did the group of change-makers declare Ekrem İmamoğlu as a presidential candidate when there was no election process? Is the CHP chairman unable to control the group of change-makers, or does the group of change-makers control the chairman? Are there any foreign secret service networks or agents of influence within or behind the change group?.
In 2023, it is a known fact that Ekrem İmamoğlu has increased his cooperation with foreign mission representatives. In the 2023 CHP congress, it is a public process that the delegates were forced to persuade by distributing money. In 2024, Albania is on the offensive for the Bektashi State Project and the FETÖ-PDY organization is at the forefront of those who strive to cut Turkey's contact with Eastern Europe and the Balkans. Those who did this to their own chairman for their own negative interests, those who turned the party founded by Atatürk into a center of negative collective interests should be reviewed very seriously. But before that, the trust should be handed back to the people in charge and those who want to play the tin drum should be taught a lesson.
So we have to be very careful in the process we are going through.
In addition to counter-intelligence and counter-espionage, it is an important step for our state to accelerate its national security policies on the axis of influence agency. For this, the legitimacy of the chairman elected during the period of alleged fraud becomes questionable until the fraud processes in the 2023 CHP congress reach their conclusion.
Those who are aware of this and steer the process can take chaotic steps in this area by undermining the process of Turkey without terrorism or to change the agenda. Therefore, it is necessary to take the right step towards the CHP 2023 congress process with the right analysis and evidence, to read the process from the right angle with witnesses, and to move forward with the right step as a Turkey where democracy and the legal system prevail.”
