Political Islamists use manipulation and provocation as a political tactic. Especially the ‘Muslim Brotherhood’, the Ikhwan... Such a spineless ideology is rare in the history of politics!
This religiously abusive political movement that emerged in Egypt has been a tool of the imperialists since its very existence and has made history in treason. Being an enemy of the people and an enemy of humanity is a consequence of its existence.
For this reason, they had no qualms in being the lackeys of British imperialism, the German Third Reich and US expansionism respectively. For example, it was they who established Nazi battalions of Muslim people in the Balkans and Crimea.
Years later, when both Bosnians and Crimeans were paying the price for this collaborationism, they had already fled to their lairs!
‘THE LOCAL LACKEY OF THE 'ARAB SPRING': IHVAN
The political Islamists, who spread from Egypt to the Arab countries and then to the entire Islamic world, are still bending and twisting to be their errand boys, despite the fact that when they cease to be useful for the imperialists, they are immediately thrown in the trash. They are not as effective nowadays as they used to be, they are not as flashy as they were during the Arab Spring, but they are still very useful!
With the support of the Western Bloc, they were able to come to power in some countries, of course with different forms and discourses... One of them is the Justice and Development Party, another one is the Justice and Development Party in Morocco!.. Isn't it interesting that even the name is the same? And when you look at the processes by which they both came to power, the similarities are astonishing! The Justice and Development Party (AKP), the Moroccan offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood, was swept to power in the wave of change in 2011 with great favor on the grounds that it was ’clean‘, ’reliable‘, ’moral‘ and ’untested‘.
Of course, with the endless support of the United States, the United Kingdom and the European Union, which prepared the Arab Spring project... Isn't it similar to the coming to power of the AK Party in Turkey? Fortunately, its twin in Morocco lost the 2021 elections. Nevertheless, it remains a threat to Morocco's future.
SECTARIAN, CONSPIRATORIAL, REACTIONARY...
Of course, not all of them can be so cunning, for example Mohamed Morsi's Freedom and Justice Party was not so cunning, he was a hard-line Ikhwanist and his mask was soon unmasked. His underhanded tactics of violence against the Shiite leaders and the Christian minority in Egypt blew up in his face. He was impatient to take away women's freedoms.
Millions of Egyptians were in the squares demonstrating against the Brotherhood, even though political Islamists in other countries claimed that they had been overthrown in a coup. In other words, the army did not carry out a coup on its own. It is possible to multiply these examples...
THERE IS ONLY ONE QATAR DYNASTY LEFT AND THE AK PARTY
There are now very few Ikhwan offshoots in power. Hamas, which was established with Israeli support to divide the Palestinian liberation movement, has been largely ousted by Israel, leaving only the governments in Turkey and Qatar. The Qatari royalty has plenty of money and good relations with the Western Bloc, except for Israel. It is on almost the same course in the Middle East as Turkey. There is no obvious attempt to become a ‘swing state’ like Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and the American military base in the country is of strategic importance in a possible war with Iran.
The AK Party government in Turkey, on the other hand, is not as assertive as it used to be in its quest to become a ‘swing state’ and is currently mending relations with the Western Bloc. The EU and other Western Bloc actors, especially the US, seem to have given way to the reactionary authoritarian regime. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz are ready to make concessions and promises in order to somehow use Turkey as an active ally in a possible EU-Russia war. They know very well that those who come from the Ikhwan tradition will maneuver in any way to stay in power, not for the interests of the country. A little push from the US is enough to pave the road to hell for this new alliance... Even if not in the short term, the Russophobia of the EU spirit masked by the rhetoric of ‘democracy’ and the Nazism in its genes are likely to peak.
In such a course, if the MHP, the other major partner of the People's Alliance, does not create a problem, foreign policy is likely to evolve in this way...
The AK Party seems to have preferred a road map that seeks to maintain its power with an authoritarian reactionary regime that becomes more tyrannical as it loses its grassroots support, and to survive with the support of the Western Bloc as it loses its domestic support. His message to the Western Bloc is “The opposition can be Westernist too, but we are the most useful for you’. The Western Bloc seems to have gotten this message and is happy with the way things are going.
WHEN THEY LOST THE SUPPORT OF THE NATION, THEY BECAME DEPENDENT ON THE USA AND EU
For this reason, EU officials will not push the AK Party as much as they used to, even if they occasionally emphasize ‘democracy’, this is obvious... In other words, snow has fallen on the mountains that the liberals who once supported the AK Party were counting on!
The top leadership of the CHP was no different from the liberals when it came to the EU... Now the CHP leadership is learning that instead of seeking help from the EU, they should fight for democracy with this nation...
In order to fight for democracy hand in hand with the nation, it is necessary to purge the CHP cadres of US, EU and NATO supporters.
IF CHP COULD GET RID OF NATO LOVERS WHILE CLEANING ITS INTESTINES
There is no way for the CHP, which has a chairman who criticizes the Western Bloc for openly supporting this reactionary authoritarian regime in the squares, a CHP that signs reports on ‘how to deal with Iran’ in the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, a CHP that has deputies and staff who are more NATOist than NATO, to fight for democracy and independence hand in hand with the nation.
If he cleanses the party of those who pursue their personal ambitions, then the CHP's march to power can be paved. Is this possible? Maybe they can take the first step by changing the foreign policy vision and appointing a patriotic person as Deputy Chairman in charge of Foreign Policy.
The CHP needs patriots, not NATO lovers. Or they will continue to be the second choice for the Western Bloc after the political Islamists and will continue to be pushed around!...
