Who is Elif Demirezer?
Born in 1992 in Berlin, Germany, ELIF, real name Elif Demirezer, is a musician, singer, presenter and songwriter.
His family immigrated to Germany from Turkey in 1987 and ELIF was born in Berlin. According to some sources, she is originally from Adana, one of the Mediterranean provinces of Turkey. The successful singer, the 3rd of the family's 4 children, grew up in Berlin's Moabit neighborhood and attended OSC KIM school. She took part in the school musical and the school choir, and also took guitar lessons during her teenage years. She started writing her first songs at that time.
At the age of 16, she competed in the 8th season of the ProSieben talent show Popstars. She was a big hit at the time and performed with All American Rejects (The Wind Blows) and Cassandra Steen (Never Knew I Needed) and came 2nd in the final with Niklas Dennin.

Elif Demirezer worked as a blogger for Webradio's “I Love Radio” and in 2012, Demirezer joined German singer-songwriter Tim Bendzko for his November tour of German clubs.
In February 2013, she opened for Ronan Keating during his tour of Germany and later on her first single “Unter meiner Haut” (Under My Skin) was released by Universal Music. In a short time, the single reached number 80 in the German singles charts.
