Hosted by Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality and Karesi Municipality, the final of “63rd Traditional Kurtdereli Mehmet Pehlivan Oil Wrestling” was held yesterday.
AK Party MPs Hulusi Akar and Vahit Kirişçi, IYI Party MP Turhan Çömez, CHP Balıkesir MP Serkan Sarı, CHP Deputy Chairman for Local Governments Ahmet Akın, President of the World Ethnosport Confederation and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's son Bilal Erdoğan, Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), İbrahim Türkiş, President of the Turkish Traditional Wrestling Federation, İsmail Ustaoğlu, Governor of Balıkesir, Yücel Yılmaz, Mayor of Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality, Alinur Aktaş, Mayor of Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, Dinçer Orkan, Mayor of Karesi and many Balıkesirli people watched the wrestling.

MANUAL EYE EXAMINATION
While Bilal Erdoğan shook hands with IYI Party and CHP members who came to watch the matches, he did not shake hands with IYI Party MP Turhan Çömez, who is also his father's former doctor. After shaking Ahmet Akın's hand, Erdoğan left Çömez's hand in the air. After waiting for a while, Çömez waved his hand in front of Bilal Erdoğan's face several times in reaction.
Çömez then shook hands with Hulusi Akar.

ALİ GÜRBÜZ WAS THE CHAMPION
On the other hand, Hüseyin Gümüşalan, who defeated Orhan Okulu and Ali Gürbüz, who defeated Yusuf Can Zeybek, reached the finals.
Ali Gürbüz won the golden belt by “touching” his opponent Hüseyin Gümüşalan in the scoring section in the final match and won the title of chief wrestler in Kurtdereli Oil Wrestling.
