Armor Quest, Dirty Luggage and Clappers

These pens who applaud wrongdoing, who know the smell of that heavy baggage but block their noses, are the biggest blow to society's hope for clean politics.

While politics is the art of moving a society forward in the hands of idealists, for some it is just a “shelter” in search of an ideological compass. These days, in the party corridors, we see many profiles that are not guided by an ideological compass, but by a desire to shelter themselves from the impending judicial storms. Imagine a political actor; a neighborhood he has never set foot in, a table he has never sat at, a hand he has never shaken. “adversary” no more. But the reason for this mobilization is not a culture of reconciliation, but the relentless fear of the heavy baggage on its back.

Let's Briefly Examine the Political Anatomy of Fear

For such actors, politics is not a field of service, but a shield of immunity. Dossiers waiting on the dusty shelves of the past, dirty negotiations and “in the trunk” those dark burdens that force one to knock on a new door every day. Today “ak” that tomorrow “black” not because he has no principles, but because he is loyal to a single principle: Survival at all costs.

The fact that he is traveling from party to party in search of a place on the parliamentary nomination lists is actually an effort to obtain a shield against the judiciary, rather than an ambition for power. Because he knows that without that shield (immunity), confronting the shadows of the past will become inevitable.

Let's not pass without mentioning the “mirrored states” of the media and hired pens

The most painful part of the matter is the media system that creates space for these swings and glorifies these dirty baggage. Just because a politician joined his own neighborhood yesterday “traitor” the man he called “strategic genius” journalists are the biggest partners in this pollution. Journalism is not shaped according to the wind. The duty of a journalist is to write the facts, not to market opinions.

These pens, who applaud wrongdoing, who know the smell of that heavy baggage but block their noses, deal the biggest blow to society's hope for clean politics. A dirty actor “hero of democracy” are, in fact, becoming accomplices of that politician. As much as the pollution of politics, the corruption of journalism, which tries to cover that pollution with perfumed sentences, is a burden on this country.

What should happen is that politics should be the domain of people with a clean past, people whose word is their own, people who act on their ideals, not their fears. What should not happen is that parliament becomes a “escape tunnel” or “a storehouse of legal armor” as a means to achieve this goal.

If a politician is only concerned about closing his own file and not the concerns of the people, he is no longer a representative but a deserter.

And it should not be forgotten that even if the tables change, as long as the owner of that heavy baggage does not change, the destination will always lead to the same darkness.
