The Name of Fear is Not Diplomacy: “The Double Standard of the Middle East and the American Reality”

The issue today is not Iran. The issue is the choice between independence and dependence.

The same scenario is playing out again in the Middle East. Some Arab countries quickly got in front of the microphones and condemned Iran. Statements are ready, reflexes are memorized. However, the same countries are unable to say a word against the US military presence and Israel's aggressive policies, which are the main source of tension in the region.
This is no longer diplomacy, but an open system of dependency.
Let's speak the truth frankly:
One of the biggest actors in the ongoing crises, wars and instability in the Middle East is the United States of America. We are talking about a power that destroyed a country in Iraq, left two decades of devastation in Afghanistan, and today keeps tensions alive by surrounding the region with military bases.
But the real issue is deeper...

Is Colonialism Over or Has It Changed Form?

It is said that colonialism is over in the world. Flags are changed, maps are redrawn, countries are declared “independent”. But is this the reality?
Today, if major powers have military bases in small and medium-sized countries, one must question how independent those countries are.
Let's ask openly:
  • Which country has a military base in the US?
  • Which country has a military presence in Russia?
  • Which country is allowed to set up bases on Chinese territory?
The answer is clear: None.
But the same America maintains dozens of military bases all over the world, especially in the Middle East. These bases are not only for “security”; they are also instruments of political pressure, control and manipulation.
In this case, we cannot ignore the following fact:
It is not possible to talk about the full independence of countries that have foreign military forces on their territory.
This is the modern version of classical colonialism.

Iranian Issue or Independence Issue?

Iran is targeting US bases. In other words, they are the sources of direct attacks against it. Nevertheless, it is a serious contradiction to declare Iran an “aggressor” and not question the existence of those bases.
The Holy Qur'an sets a clear benchmark on this point:
“If they attack you, retaliate against them in kind.” (Al-Baqarah 194)
And another warning:
“Do not incline to the wrongdoers; then the Fire will touch you.” (Hud 113)
That is exactly what some governments are doing today. By siding with the powerful, they are pushing justice to the background.
America's Middle East Record
-The invasion of Iraq: The collapse of a country
-Afghanistan: 20 years of destruction
-Palestine: Unconditional support for Israel
In the face of this picture, unilateral condemnations are nothing but a cover-up.

True Independence Requires Courage

Today the issue is not Iran.
It is a choice between independence and dependence.
Every country that cannot say a word against the United States, that ignores Israel's attacks but condemns Iran is in fact declaring the following:
We are on the side of power, not justice.
It should not be forgotten that:
True independence is not only about carrying the flag, but also about being able to speak out against the powerful when necessary.
“Be free and it will be a feast”
