Shock claim! Information on 10 thousand CHP members given to MIT

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel had announced that they had asked for MİT's help for those who wanted to become party members abroad.

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel had a meeting with İbrahim Kalın, the head of the National Intelligence Organization (MIT), at CHP headquarters on November 20.

Speaking about that meeting two days later on a live broadcast, Özel said, “We receive many applications to CHP offices abroad. We asked for intelligence support to prevent infiltration by FETÖ or other organizations.”.

Özel's statement that MİT had been asked to help the party with the registration of party members drew reaction from CHP's foreign units and many CHP members reacted to these statements with a signed statement.

Following Özgür Özel's statement, no statement has been made so far on what kind of work is being done between the CHP and MİT.

However, a very striking allegation has been raised on this issue.

Experienced journalist Halil Nebiler claimed in his ‘Televizyon Gazetesi’ program on his YouTube channel that the information of 10 thousand CHP members was shared with MİT after that meeting.

Stating that he had his claim confirmed by a senior source, Nebiler said, “He handed over to MİT the records of about 10 thousand members registered in 52 centers in 10 countries abroad.”.
